Jordin Sparks’ Ex-Boyfriend Sage The Gemini Wants Her Back, Read His Instagram Plea
Jordan Sparks and Sage the Gemini recently split after dating for 10 months, and already, the rapper wants the pop star back. On February 16, Sage the Gemini shared an elaborate message with fans, pleading for Jordin Sparks to give him another chance.

“Can’t sit here and act industry like this s–t don’t hurt me,” Sage wrote to Jordin Sparks. “You the only girl I can call at 3 in the morning and you’ll answer no problem. You the only girl that can wake up out of a dead sleep and get me some water because I was coughing in my sleep the only girl that loves me the way you were supposed to.”
Sage continued on, noting Jordin Sparks looked “so amazing” at Clive Davis’ pre-GRAMMY Awards party on Sunday night. According to the rapper, he wanted to call Jordin Sparks and let her know how much he appreciated her fashion sense, but sadly, she wouldn’t answer his calls, nor would she text back.
In the photo of his Instagram post, Sage was seen sitting next to Jordin Sparks during a previous event, and as he explained, there were men all around them, giving Jordin Sparks the eye, but she didn’t pay them any mind. Instead, the American Idol contestant stayed focused on her man.
“It kinda reminds me of the picture of the little lady standing in front of the hulk and being the only one that can calm him down that’s you ya know?” Sage asked.
While Jordin Sparks didn’t release an initial statement to Sage, the rapper appears determined to get her back, and as his post continued, he promised to be a “good boy” as he waited patiently.
“I just wanna tell you I’m still being a good boy just [in case] you come to your senses,” he wrote. “Valentine’s Day was supposed to be a special day I wanted that to be our anniversary because it’s your grandparents and maybe we could’ve double dated remember? Please call me back I just want like a hug and a kiss or something.”

On February 10, People Magazine shared details of Jordin Sparks and Sage’s split, revealing the couple had first gone public with their romance in May of last year, following Jordin Sparks’ split from Jason Derulo in September 2014.
On social media, Jordin Sparks and Sage were often very open with their relationship, which makes his recent Instagram plea quite fitting.
At the beginning of their relationship, Jordin Sparks and Sage watched the movie Big Hero 6, and eventually, Sage became known as her Baemaxx, a play on the main character’s name, Baymax, and often used the hashtag #baemaxx in her posts.
“Well, you know, Big Hero 6, the big guy was [named] Baymax. We watched that two weeks ago … and I was like, ‘I love the name Baymax,'” Jordin Sparks explained to People Magazine in May of last year. “[Sage] was like, ‘I’m your bae to the max,’ and I was like, ‘That’s your nickname!'”
While Jordin Sparks has yet to respond to Sage’s Instagram post, a number of fans have weighed in on the comments section of the post, hoping to see the couple get back together. Although it remains unknown why the former couple parted ways in the first place, Sage’s fans seems to think his emotional and candid post should be enough to garner Sage with a second chance, and as he explained, have Jordin Sparks come to her “senses.”
