Chris Brown And Karrueche Tran Not Dating After Breakup, Model Too ‘Hurt’ To Move On From Ex

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran may have gone their separate ways following the news of Brown’s fatherhood status last year, but it appears that the former longtime couple isn’t interested in getting back into the dating scene just yet.

Karrueche Tran called off her on-again, off-again relationship with Chris Brown in March, 2015, after discovering through the media that Brown had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman. While Brown maintains that he and Karrueche were on a break at the time of his brief romance with Guzman, Karrueche has been adamant about her decision to distance herself from Brown since the split.

While both Karrueche and Chris have sparked dating rumors with other celebrities since calling off their relationship in 2015, sources close to Karrueche and Chris allege that the duo is still struggling to move on from their past romance.

A source close to Karrueche and Chris explains to Urban Islandz that the duo “both still love each other a great deal but are reluctant to act it,” given the nature of their abrupt split.

The source also explains that Chris Brown remains focused on raising his 1-year-old daughter, Royalty, and putting out new music for his fans which leaves little time to entertain a new relationship after splitting from Karrueche Tran.

“Breezy just stuck in fatherhood at the moment and that’s a good thing for him because at least he is staying out of trouble, you know what I mean?” the source explained to the site.

As for Karrueche Tran, the insider notes that Karrueche is struggling to move on from Chris Brown because she is still “hurt” and “bitter” over the nature of their breakup.

“Karrueche is still in love with Chris,” the source reveals, “but he hurt her so much that her heart is turning into stone.”

“There are plenty ballers trying to get a piece of her heart but they quickly realize that she is too bitter to be in a relationship right now,” the source continues. “It’s not her fault but she can’t help but to be like that.”

The news comes just one day after Chris Brown spoke out against newly emerged dating rumors suggesting that he’s getting cozy with model Ammika Harris, who fans believe bears a striking resemblance to ex Karrueche Tran.

In a screengrab obtained by the Shade Room, Chris Brown responds to fan speculation suggesting that he’s secretly dating Ammika Harris, explaining, “It’s funny that y’all want so badly for me to be dating someone. I’m in love with my daughter. Learning how to LOVE MYSELF before I can open those doors.”

Similarly, while Karrueche Tran has sparked romance rumors with DJ Morten and Memphis Depay since her split from Chris Brown, the model recently shut down the dating claims via Twitter when she took to the social media site to open up about her struggles to get back into the dating scene.

“Being single and trying to date I am so awkward and weird,” Karrueche wrote on Twitter back in January. “Finding a place between being guarded and opening up is so hard but hey who doesn’t like a challenge.”

Meanwhile, despite fans’ hopes that there may be a chance for reconciliation between Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran in the future, Brown seemingly dissed the idea on Instagram last week when he commented on an old photo of himself and Tran in happier times with a bull-emoji and smiling poop-emoji.
