Janet Jackson In Dispute With Paris Jackson Over Acting Career
You only get one chance to be a child. That’s the central message of a dispute between Janet Jackson and her niece Paris.
Janet is reportedly upset with her family for allowing Michael Jackson’s daughter to sign on for the movie Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys. Janet says that Michael would have wanted Paris, who is only 14-years-old, to go to college before she embarked on an acting career.
A source close to the situation said:
“She feels it goes against Michael’s wishes to keep his kids out of the limelight until age 18… Janet thinks Paris should enjoy being a kid and possibly go to college.”
But Paris is done wearing a mask in public. The young girl has recently done shows like Oprah and Ellen to talk about her late father and has expressed that she wants to be just like him.
Paris said:
“I love acting… When I was really little, my Dad was in the movie Moonwalker, and I knew he could sing really well, but I didn’t know he could act. I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him.’”
Here’s a video of Paris Jackson during a photo-shoot for Lundon’s Bridge.
Do you think Janet Jackson is right? Is Paris Jackson too young to start acting?
