Did Diane Kruger And Joshua Jackson Quietly Split? She Posts A Cryptic Message While His Dad Takes On The Rumors

Diane Kruger’s relationship with Joshua Jackson has definitely seen better days. While the couple has not been out together in public in over two months, Kruger’s recent social media activity has led to speculation about a coming split. Does Norman Reedus have anything to do with it? And what does Jackson’s father think of the whole situation?

In a recent post to Instagram, Kruger shared a relationship quote that had many fans wondering if her relationship with Jackson is on the verge of ending.

“Men aren’t stupid, and you don’t need a complicated set of rules to find a good one who loves you… Here’s the only rule you need: If a man loves you, he will do anything he can to keep you around. Anything.”

Kruger captioned the photo by admitting that while she hates quotes. However, that did not stop her from using one to tell the world just how she felt about her life. “I hate inspirational quotes and yet they can be like cheap wine… hard to resist every once in a while… so I’m sorry… suck it,” she wrote.

According to ET Online, the National Treasure actress went on to post an image of a few pink roses that a few of her friends had given her. She went to post a selfie of her lounging on her couch with the words: “Mood.”

It cannot be said for sure if the recent social media activity is an indication that Kruger and Jackson are finished. Considering the nature of the posts, however, it is interesting that she would post what she did without clarifying what she meant.

Kruger and Jackson have been together since 2006, and have made it a point to keep their private lives far from public view. That being said, Radar Online is reporting that rumors of a possible breakup first surfaced after the actress was spotted getting a little up close and personal with The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.

In December, eyewitnesses reportedly spotted Reedus and Diane Kruger hanging out together in a bar in New York City. Since then, speculations have surfaced that Kruger and Jackson had broken up, especially after the couple has not been spotted in public for over 75 days.

Although it isn’t clear what is happening between one of Hollywood’s favorite pairs, Jackson’s father, John Carter, recently chatted with Radar Online and shed some light on the issue. For starters, Carter addressed the rumors surrounding Kruger and Reedus and had an explanation of his own for why his son and Kruger haven’t been out lately.

“They’re probably just laying low since she was seen with some guy in that pub,” Carter shared. “I have not heard any more about that at all. I would think since they’re very private, they’d go to the ground with publicity.”

While fans eagerly await more news on the matter, Carter admitted that he is in the same boat. In fact, he revealed that even he has a hard time getting in touch with his son, who does not tend to communicate very well.

“I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for four months,” he stated. “Josh doesn’t return calls for anybody. They really just don’t take calls. They’re very private. If I really want to talk to Josh, I have to go to where he is.”

At the same time, Carter was also asked if he thought Kruger and Jackson were headed for a breakup. In reply, Carter appeared doubtful that they would end things any time soon.

“I don’t see that,” he added. “Usually a brother or sister would talk to me about it. Not even a whimper.”
