‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Star Dakota Johnson Wants Co-Star Jamie Dornan Fully Nude For Sequel
Dakota Johnson says she’s nothing like her wild on-screen best friend in How to Be Single, played by Rebel Wilson, but that hasn’t kept the Fifty Shades of Grey actress from suggesting that Jamie Dornan should fully expose himself in the sequel, Fifty Shades Darker. Asked about the possibility that Dornan would go fully nude for the sequel, Dakota responded to the fan’s question by saying that she would do what she could to encourage Jamie to bare it all.
Meanwhile, Ms. Johnson also revealed that she’s nothing like the party animals in How to Be Single, revealing that she prefers quiet nights at home. The actress also revealed that it’s been hard to find serious romantic interests, following her role as Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey.
Fifty Shades Of Grey Actress Dakota Johnson Thinks It’s Fair That Jamie Dornan Go Fully Nude
Fifty Shades of Grey was very revealing for Dakota in more ways than one. In fact, as the actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen pointed out that Ms. Johnson exposed much more of her body than her Fifty Shades of Grey co-star. It was asked of Dakota if she would like to see that corrected in the next film by having co-star Dornan bare it all in a full frontal nude scene for Fifty Shades Darker.
“Hmm, that’s an interesting question. I’ll probably get in trouble for this question. Yeah, I’m going to get him fully naked in the next one.”
The thought of it seemed to encourage Johnson, because she immediately expounded on her answer.
“Everybody wants to see the D! The Dornan D. We should start a movement – a campaign.”
In the past, Mr. Dornan had stated that he wouldn’t be willing to appear fully nude on film, suggesting that such a scene might alienate more fans than it would excite. He added that the idea of appearing fully nude was never discussed as a possibility with Fifty Shades of Grey producers.
“They were privy to everything, just not my manhood.”

In How to Be Single, Rebel Wilson plays a wild party girl, spending most nights bar hopping and waking up to someone new most mornings. Ms. Johnson stated that that’s not the kind of lifestyle she lives, though she admits it might be fun to enjoy a night out like that, maybe once in a while.
“The things that she does are not things that I do,” says Johnson. “It’s fun to think about going out and partying and having different relationships with people. I’ve been in long term relationships mostly so I’m more used to that.”
Another aspect of dating that confounds Johnson is the conversation that inevitably comes back to talking about oneself. She says, even though she’s a celebrity who is compelled to talk about herself often, it doesn’t come naturally. Instead, Dakota prefers her solitude. She likes to read and soak in the tub. Johnson does have a small circle of friends, but she adds that she mostly prefers the couch potato lifestyle.
“I just love being alone. I cherish my solitude sometimes. I like it. I like to be able to do whatever I want with my brain. If I feel like taking a bath and painting my nails, that’s OK. I don’t know how I got there. I also understand the desire to have someone there and feel loved.”
On Fifty Shades Darker, Dakota Johnson couldn’t be compelled to reveal anything. She only said that there was a high degree of secrecy and security surrounding the film, before teasing that she didn’t know anything. Afterwards, Johnson admitted she knew everything about the film, but wasn’t at liberty to reveal any spoilers.
