Jamie Dornan To Go Full Frontal In ‘Fifty Shades Darker’? His Co-Star Dakota Johnson Hopes So!

Fans have longed expressed their desire to see Jamie Dornan go full frontal in the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. Now, it appears as though Dakota Johnson is fully on board with that idea. Does this mean fans will finally get to see Dornan expose it all in Fifty Shades Darker?

During her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Johnson discussed her role as Anastasia Steele in the upcoming sequel. Things heated up when Cohen began to question the actress about her co-stars level of nudity in the next installment and asked her just how much Dornan is willing to display.

“Dakota, do you think that it’s fair that we saw way less of Jamie Dornan’s body in Fifty Shades than we saw of yours?” Cohen asked Johnson.

“Hmm, that’s an interesting question,” she answered. “I’ll probably get in trouble for this question. Yeah, I’m going to get him fully naked in the next one. Everybody wants to see the D.”

According to ET Online, Cohen offered no resistance to the idea

“Show us the D. It’s the sequel,” he stated. “It has to be bigger and better and more.”

Johnson was joined by her cast mates on How to Be Single, Alison Brie and Leslie Mann. Both of them agreed that Dornan should go full frontal and show everyone the “D.”

“Yeah, the Dornan D!” Johnson added. “We should start a movement. A campaign.”

Johnson’s recent comments join the chorus of speculation surrounding Jamie Dornan’s rumored full frontal scene. At this point, producers have yet to confirm if Dornan will be showing off everything in the film, although Johnson’s urging might go a long way in fulfilling every fan’s ultimate wish.

Meanwhile, apart from the ramped up sexuality expected in Fifty Shades Darker, Movie Pilot is reporting that production is almost set to start in Vancouver. With filming only weeks away, there have been some major developments on the casting front.

For starters, Kim Basinger has been cast for the role of Elena Lincoln, or Mrs. Robinson. Elena first taught Christian the BDSM ways and was his first dominant partner. In the upcoming movie, Elena is introduced as Christian’s new business partner, which does not sit well with Ana.

Apart from Basinger, Arielle Kebbel has been hired to play the role of Gia Matteo. In the books, Gia works for Christian as one of his top architects and designed his home. The character is described as gorgeous and hard working, which also gets on Ana’s nerves.

Lastly, the role of Leila Williams will official be played by Bella Heathcote. The actress, who hails from Australia, had a notable part in Time Burton’s Dark Shadows, which should serve her well in her new role.

Leila is perhaps one of the most unstable characters in the sequel. She is a former submissive of Christian’s who is now mentally ill and bent on winning back Christian’s love. Needless to say, Leila is definitely not going to get along well with Ana.

The only major roles yet to be cast are those of Jack Hyde and Dr. Flynn, both of whom are important characters to the main plot the new movie. Hyde is Ana’s new boss who takes a liking to her, while Dr. Flynn is Christian’s main therapist. With production set to being in the coming weeks, more casting news should be released soon.

Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled to open in theaters everywhere in February of 2017, while the third film in the franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, is set to be released one year later.
