‘Ash Vs Evil Dead’ Season 2 Spoilers: Ash’s Dad Is Coming [Photo]
Ash vs Evil Dead will be coming back next fall with season 2 and some outstanding new episodes. There is also likely to be whole new level of tension in the story when Ash William’s (Bruce Campbell) father shows up for the non-stop Deadite action.
Although there are many actors in Hollywood who would have been a great choice to cast in the Ash vs Evil Dead role, there is only one Six Million Dollar Man that can play the role and that is none other than Lee Majors.

According to Deadline, not only has Majors been cast as Ash’s father, but creator Sam Raimi is also going to keep it in the family and put the role of Ash’s childhood best friend on his brother, Ted Raimi.
Starz has created the variable combination of both a masterpiece and a genre-bending horror romp fest with the series. Ash vs Evil Dead delivered in many of the major demographics during its freshman run last year, which premiered on Halloween and kept chugging along until the tenth and final episode that left the characters suspended between a possible Heaven or Hell scenario.
Now that Ruby (Lucy Lawless) has the Necronomicon and has also been exposed as the book’s author, the sky is the limit to how many different ways the story can unfold. But Ash vs Evil Dead season 2 is still going to be a bloody hilarious good time. The show does not sacrifice one for the other. The horror and gore are always accompanied by uproarious comedy and constantly has the audience engaged from start to finish.

In season 2 of the show, Lee Majors is sure to be the kind of father that Ash could do without. At least the character himself would think so. Majors has always been known to play the no-nonsense, hard-edged kind of characters that in the end always gets the girl and always gets his way.
Fans of Ash vs Evil Dead know all too well that this is the exact same kind of character that Ash already is, and with the two on the same stage together, they are sure to be butting heads at some point. There are quite possibly no limits to the amount of laughter that could potentially come out of a situation like this.
In the final episode of the first season of Ash vs Evil Dead, the series hero and his fellow stars were on their way to sunny Florida after Ash foolishly made a deal with Ruby to let her have the book and the world would be his oyster.

Ash has always been the kind of hero that never really wanted to be a hero and if he had his way, he never would have been the go-to guy for the title to start with.
Ash is a little bit of everything that is inherent to an anti-hero and a misogynistic pig. He treats women like they are a piece of meat and he is never one to shy away from dignity, especially when it comes down to him or someone else losing the battle. Although he hasn’t technically done it yet, there is good reason to believe that he would sell out his friends if he could just park his butt on a recliner with a stash of porn at his side for the rest of his life.
With season 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead coming up this year, Ash is also going to get a visit from his best friend. Suffice it to say that both his dad and his childhood friend are likely to make a concurrent visit from the past.

There has been no word yet on a premiere date for season 2 of the show on Starz, but fans can probably expect it to be sometime around Halloween like last year.
