‘Mob Wives’ Drita D’Avanzo Arrested for Sidewalk Brawl — Husband Lee D’Avanzo Allegedly Instigated The Whole Altercation
Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo was arrested on Tuesday for misdemeanor assault on Staten Island. Apparently, Drita’s husband, Lee, got into a shouting match with someone over a parking space. On a video captured by a bystander, Lee called Drita on his cell phone, and asked her to confront the woman and “teach her a lesson.”
TMZ was the first media outlet to break the story when they reported Drita’s arrest. The local police noted that Drita approached the woman over a parking dispute. The argument got heated quickly, and Drita allegedly threw and landed several punches. By the time the police arrived, the fight was over and done; however, the woman who Drita hit wanted to file charges against her.

In the video, Lee and the unnamed woman argue about a parking space. The woman tells him that the parking space is hers and for Lee to get his car out of it. Lee responded by arguing with her and calling Drita on the phone. In the clip, Lee says, ” Hey Dre, I need you to come over here and teach this b**ch a lesson.” Lee kept calling the unidentified woman a “nutjob” as she yelled obscenities at Lee as he walked back to his car. Apparently, a couple of minutes after Lee left, Drita approached the woman. A few words were said, and Drita allegedly threw and landed a couple of punches. Drita had left the scene before the police arrived; however, a warrant for her arrest was issued.
Social media users were not shocked to hear that Drita was arrested for assault. Mob Wives hired bodyguards this season for the cast members, as they claimed they were terrified of Drita. They claimed they were scared that Drita would sneak behind them and try to assault them. Clearly, their fear was not entirely unfounded as she proved Tuesday that she will fight if [she] feels cornered, as she demonstrated on Tuesday.
Mob Wives season 6 has put Drita’s battle with Carla Facciolo, and if that’s not enough, they threw Karen Gravano’s shade in the mix. D’Avanzo has had an incredibly rough season, with most of the women at odds with her. Lately, it appears that she is only friendly with Big Ang [Raiola]; the other women seem to want nothing to do with her.

VH1 reported that Drita experienced a terrible year with the falling out with much of the cast and because of a few personal issues. Apparently, when Drita decided to write a book as her way of dealing with her troubled past, it ruffled a few feathers. Her husband, Lee, was not the only one who had a problem with it; the Mob Wives cast members felt it was wrong for her to put her life on full display by publishing a book.
ET Online noted that D’Avanzo was later brought to the police station and processed. She was given the order to appear in court after being cited for a misdemeanor assault charge. Drita was told to appear in court on March 9.
Instagram users responded to the news of her arrest with memes of Drita stating what it would take for her to punch someone. Apparently, it wouldn’t take much, as she landed several punches over a parking space on Tuesday. Drita D’Avanzo has not been active on social media since her arrest. The only activity was inviting her followers to an event she is holding at her store on Saturday.
I will be holding an event at my store next Sat!!!! Posting details soon:)) #MakeupPartayyyyy
