Watch Bangladesh Vs. West Indies U19 World Cup Live Online: Streaming Semifinal, Young Tigers Have Shot At History
The Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team can make history in a U19 World Cup semifinal streaming live online against a resilient Went Indies team that has its eyes on only the second U19 Final appearance for the Caribbean islands squad. But for Bangladesh, the semifinal on Thursday — Wednesday in the United States — carries even greater historical significance.
The Young Tigers will become the first Bangladesh cricket team to play in a World Cup semifinal at any level — and a win puts the hosts in a World Cup final with a chance for a championship that would go down as one of the greatest accomplishments in the sporting history of the cricket-crazy nation.

The largest crowd of the tournament is expected to turn out at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka for the semifinal — less than a year after the Bangladesh senior team made its own history by advancing to the quarterfinal of the Cricket World Cup for the first time ever.
About 10,000 fans turned out for the Bangladesh quarterfinal match against Nepal, a game won, of course, by the host team who chased down 211 inside of 49 overs for a four-wicket win that sent the Young Tigers to their first-ever semifinal.
But according to Bangladesh Captain Mehedi Hasan Miraz, the team is staying on an even keel going into the monumental game.
“I am very proud to be in the semifinal for the first time. It is not pressure. We are excited to give our best and be in the finals. We are really well prepared for this game,” Miraz said on Wednesday. “If we become too excited or emotional, we won’t be able to able to play our natural game.”

The surprising West Indies team, who pulled off a shocking upset of Pakistan to reach the semifinal — and prevent an all-Asian Final Four in the 2016 U19 World Cup — know that, in the words of their coach Graeme West, “we will not be playing against a team only, but a whole nation.”
“We obviously won’t be at ease when the crowd would be wanting us to lose, but this is a challenge that we must take in,” added West Indies Captain Shimron Hetmyer.
The winner of the Bangladesh vs. West Indies semifinal faces another steep hill to climb in the February 14 U19 Cricket World Cup Final where tournament favorite India — who cruised past Sri Lanka by 97 runs in the first semifinal earlier in the week — awaits, seeking their record fourth U19 World Cup championship.
