Chris Brown Dissing Rihanna And Drake’s ‘Work’ Music Video? Fans Weigh-In On Latest Rumors
Chris Brown and Drake may have made headlines for their brief feud over Rihanna three years ago, but is Brown still throwing shade at the “Hotline Bling” rapper by dissing his new collaboration with Rihanna?
Rumors of a rekindled feud between Chris Brown, Drake, and Rihanna began last week after Rihanna and Drake debuted their latest collaborative track, “Work,” and after the duo were spotted filming the music video accompaniment for the song in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Days later, Drake and Rihanna were spotted having dinner at Drake’s Toronto-based restaurant, Fring’s, before taking to social media to share behind-the-scenes photos of their impending music video.

While Chris Brown has not spoken out publicly about Rihanna and Drake’s new track, Urban Islandz alleges that the “Loyal” singer may have thrown shade at the duo with a cryptic tweet shared to his official Twitter account earlier this week.
On Thursday, Chris Brown took to Twitter to share two inspirational messages with his followers, revealing, “One day at a time…Some days are better than others…love is love.” Then, he adds, “Nothing bad will ever last.”
The site alleges that Brown’s tweets may have been directed at the attention surrounding Drake and Rihanna’s new track before quoting an alleged source close to Brown who weighs-in on the newly-resurfaced romance rumors between Drake and Rihanna.
“All [Chris Brown] wants is for them to leave him alone,” Chris Brown’s alleged source explains to the site. “Their relationship is history but she always have to be singing about him to get attention to her music and what makes him angry the most is when she allows Drake to rap about him also.”
Despite speculation that Chris Brown is bothered by Drake and Rihanna’s new collaboration, it doesn’t appear that fans are too convinced that there’s any bad blood between Brown, Drake, and Rihanna.
In response to the rumors, one fan points out that Chris Brown’s tweet was posted days before Rihanna and Drake were spotted together in Toronto. Similarly, another fan suggests that given the recent drama between Chris Brown and baby mama Nia Guzman, it’s more likely that the tweet was directed at her and not at Drake and Rihanna’s “Work.”

Earlier this week, Nia Guzman publicly accused Brown of giving their 1-year-old daughter, Royalty, asthma as a result of Brown exposing her to “an extreme amount of secondhand smoke,” noting that Chris is a “weed and tobacco enthusiast,” TMZ reported.
Brown swiftly took to Instagram to shut down Guzman’s claims, telling fans that the allegations are “obviously a play to get some sort of increased income.”
“I take care of my daughter and I would never ever put her in a position that will harm her,” Brown explained, via The Shade Room report. “I’m so sick and tired of negative people trying to use me and slander me. All this annoying bs, everybody knows what they do in these street. My daughter is my pride and joy and I will not be played because my lifestyle is different from the other parties involved.”
In addition, fans further dispel rumors suggesting that Chris Brown is upset over Rihanna and Drake’s recent appearance together by noting that Drake actually gave props to Chris Brown’s infamous dance moves in his newly released song, “Summer Sixteen.”

Similarly, while dating rumors between Drake and Rihanna have already begun to surface as a result of the duo’s collaboration, Rihanna recently confirmed her single status in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres for The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week.
When asked about her dating life, Rihanna explained to the talk show host, “I’m single right now. And it’s not that I’m like, ‘pro single, yes! I hate men!’ It’s just that I have so much on my plate I can’t find the time to entertain a steady relationship or something serious, or even a text, right now it’s just crazy.”
