Josh Duggar Sex Assault Lawsuit Dropped By Porn Star: Danica Dillon Insists She’s Not Lying As Anna Duggar Dishes
Josh Duggar, for the first time in months, can feel relieved. Porn star Danica Dillon had been seeking $500,000 in her lawsuit that claimed Josh injured her emotionally and physically during their alleged rough sexual encounters. However, that lawsuit targeting Duggar is now dismissed, reported ET.
Danica’s agreement includes dropping the lawsuit, paying the costs of her legal battle against Josh, and promising that she will not refile against Duggar in the future. In turn, Josh agrees that he will not file evidence that would show that Dillon’s allegations were fiction.
“[Duggar will not file evidence] which both parties agree would conclusively prove that [Dillon’s] claims are fabricated,” state the documents that ET obtained.
Josh motioned to dismiss the lawsuit in January. A judge refused to do so at that time, noting that the lawsuit filed by Danica (real name Ashley Stamm-Northup) was still in the early stages of litagation.
“We decline to grant Duggar’s motion to dismiss at this early stage of litigation where Stamm-Northup alleges Duggar treated her roughly, caused physical injuries, and she felt ‘as if she was being raped,'” said the judge.
But although the case was dropped, Dillon did not let go of her claims against Josh, reported Radar Online.Danica alleged that Duggar had paid for sex, spit on her, and choked her, resulting in PTSD for the porn star. But Josh claims he never even met Dillon, although he did confess that he cheated on his wife Anna Duggar and was addicted to porn.
Even though both Duggar and Dillon acknowledged that her allegations were “fabricated,” the porn star followed up on social media.

“Just because something was dropped doesn’t mean it was a lie,” tweeted Danica.
But as part of the final outcome of the lawsuit dismissal, Dillon admitted that the papers submitted by Josh revealed that she lied, reported Ace Showbiz.
However, Duggar in turn has promised not to file papers revealing her lies. The lawyer representing Josh requested that Danica provide the money needed for Duggar’s legal fees.
Dillon shared a picture of herself on Instagram with a message to those targeting her for lying.
“To everyone who is calling me a liar. And trying to attack me. Your words are nothing,” challenged the porn star.
At this time, Duggar is still in rehab, where he checked in after confessing he cheated on his wife Anna and was addicted to porn, reported People.
The faith-based treatment center is located in Rockford, Illinois. Josh entered the rehab facility last August following his confessions. Those sex scandals came just months after the 19 Kids And Counting reality TV star sent shock waves through the Duggar family’s followers when it was revealed that Josh had molested five underage girls, some of whom were his sisters, when he was a teenager.
For Duggar’s wife Anna, the challenges presented by her husband have been heartbreaking. Anna shared her journey and asked for prayers in a recent blog post. In it, she admitted just how difficult it has been to cope with her mixed emotions about what Josh has done.“Just recently I visited Josh [in rehab],” wrote Anna. “It was an important step on a long difficult road.”
Expressing her appreciation to fans for their messages, Anna sought to emphasize the positive while acknowledging that her challenges with Josh have not yet ended.
“I want to thank all of you for your prayers and your messages of hope. I can never express how your kindness and prayers have brought encouragement when I needed it most – outpacing the grief and discouragement at every turn. I trust that God will continue to show His love and tenderness toward us and bring beauty from ashes – somehow – as only He can do. Please continue to pray for me, Josh and our children.”
