‘Mob Wives’ Season 6 Reunion Films, Without Big Ang?

The Mob Wives season 6 reunion filmed on Friday. Early in the day, most of the show’s cast members posted photos of themselves heading to the set to film the reunion. Drita D’Avanzo, Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano, Carla Facciolo, Marrisa Jade, and Brittany Fogarty all posted photos and messages on how they were feeling heading into the reunion. The only one who didn’t post anything was Angela “Big Ang” Raiola. Apparently, she wasn’t able to attend.

Carla posted a photo of herself, without any makeup on, heading to the reunion show set. In response to someone who accused her of not caring about Big Ang, Carla wrote that the entire cast loves and is praying for Big Ang. Carla pointed out that they have a show to finish and that Big Ang would be right there with them if she could.

“We all Love & are praying for Ang but we do have a show to finish and Ang would be right with us if she could. Thank u for ur concern :))”

Yet Renee, after the reunion finished filming, posted a tweet that suggests that Big Ang did show up. Renee wrote that Big Ang “rocked it and looked great.”

On Wednesday, as the latest episode aired, Big Ang, who usually tweets her thoughts and opinions as the episodes air, tweeted that she was resting instead.

On Tuesday, Big Ang’s sister, Janine Detore, announced that a GoFundMe page has been set up on behalf of Big Ang. The page states that Big Ang has stage 4 brain and lung cancer. Unfortunately, her doctor, after reviewing a CT scan, declared last week that chemotherapy was not working and that she will now have to do immunotherapy. Janine wrote that Big Ang’s pain is “by far” more than she can handle and that she “cannot function to work anymore.” Janine is hoping that cannabis oil will allow her sister to be pain-free. The campaign, seeking to raise $25,000 to get cannabis oil, has already raised almost $40,000.

Janine’s announcement on Big Ang’s current condition likely shocked many of her fans since she was out and about and posting on social media until very recently. The current Mob Wives episodes also seemingly shows her being as full of life as ever after recovering from her throat surgery. The Mob Wives season 6 premiere episode showed Big Ang recuperating after having a big tumor removed from her throat. She credited her husband, Neil Murphy, with helping her get through the difficult time. In another scene, after being told by her doctor that she needed to live a healthier lifestyle, she went shopping for organic fruits and vegetables with Drita D’Avanzo.

Drita likely took the news of Big Ang’s cancer returning and chemotherapy not working very hard. The two women have been close friends since the very beginning of the show. While most of the friendships on the show have gone through ups and downs, Drita’s friendship with Big Ang has always been a constant.

Drita was not looking forward to filming the reunion show. Early on Friday, she wrote that she was on the way to the reunion with a couple of screwdrivers so that she can “screw people’s mouths shut.” She admitted that she was in a “bad f**king mood.” A few hours later, she posted a photo of herself, with her makeup and hair done, on the way to the set. She wrote that the only thing she was excited about was the knowledge that it was going to be the last day she would have to be with these “crazy a** m**os,” referring to the fact that season 6 will be the show’s last.

So it seems that Drita D’Avanzo’s truce with Carla Facciolo, Karen Gravano, and Renee Graziano, which was brokered by Angela “Big Ang” Raiola and aired on Wednesday’s episode, was short-lived. Renee was anxious for what the day would bring. Like Drita, Renee posted a photo of herself without any makeup on. She joked that she was heading to “hells kitchen.”

Renee Graziano later posted a photo of herself all made up.

Karen Gravano also posted a makeup-free photo of herself on the way to the reunion set. She joked that she hopes that she doesn’t get snowed in with the other women.

“Stuck in traffic on my way to film the final reunion thinking damn I hope I don’t get snowed in with these b**ches???????????????? #mobwives#thelaststand.”

New Mob Wives cast members Marrissa Jade and Brittany Fogarty also posted photos of themselves prior to the reunion.

Jennifer Graziano, the show’s creator and executive producer, as well as Renee’s sister, posted a photo of Renee, Karen, and Carla after the reunion finished filming.
