Blake Shelton Reportedly Has A ‘Surprise’ For Gwen On Valentine’s Day, Could It Be An Engagement Ring?

Valentine’s Day is only weeks away, and Blake Shelton already has some major plans in store for Gwen Stefani. With their relationship stronger than ever, is Shelton planning on asking Stefani to marry him?

Shelton’s love for Stefani has been well documented over the past few months. However, an inside source told Hollywood Life that the country star is ready to take their relationship to a new level and has something big planned for his newfound love. Does this mean he bought her an engagement ring?

“Blake has something super sweet planned for Gwen on Valentine’s Day,” the source explained. “It’s going to be a huge romantic surprise. That’s what he’s been telling his close friends.”

The surprise could turn out to be anything, but considering how in love they are with each other, it would not be surprising if Shelton pops the big question come Valentine’s Day. Fortunately for fans, whatever ends up happening between the two will likely make its way to social media before too long.

Furthermore, there may be other reasons why Shelton is getting ready to ask Stefani to be his wife besides the romantic holiday. According to Christian Today, the two are reportedly getting ready to have a child together, which would definitely be enough motivation to get hitched.

Stefani currently has three children – Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 1 – all with her former husband. An inside source told the outlet that Shelton is thrilled at the opportunity to be a dad and has a reputation for being extra generous with his other nieces and nephews.

“Blake is going to spoil her like crazy. Whatever she wants, she will get,” the source stated.

That being said, Shelton recently took to Twitter and addressed the rumors of a future wedding and baby. Shelton’s social media activity kicked off after a fan posted a photo of two magazine headlines that were reporting conflicting stories. One headline read that Shelton and Stefani were preparing for their wedding, while the other stated the two had called it off.

“@blakeshelton So which one is it?? Ha Ha,” the fan wrote on Twitter.

In response, Shelton told the fan that her post was “possibly the funniest picture I’ve ever seen,” later adding that “[p]eople who read tabloids deserve to be lied to.”

At this time, it isn’t known exactly what Shelton has in store for Stefani for Valentine’s Day. Fans will likely have to wait for the big day to find out if Shelton asks her to marry him, or if he just has something really romantic planned for his new love.

In addition to making Valentine’s Day plans, Blake Shelton is also getting ready for an appearance on the Kids’ Choice Awards. According to People, not only is Shelton hosting the ceremony, but he is also getting ready to be slimed as part of the award show’s crazy event.

“I’ve been on countless stages throughout my life, but none have promised the madness, excitement and endless slime as Nick’s Kids’ Choice Awards, which is undoubtedly the ultimate party for kids,” Shelton explained in the interview. “There is only one team here, and it’s Team Kids’ Choice so bring it on Nickelodeon!”

Shelton has also nominated for Favorite Male Singer in a category that includes the likes of Ed Sheeran, Drake, the Weeknd, Nick Jonas, and Justin Bieber. The female singer category will feature Ariana Grande, Adele, Nicki Minaj, Meghan Trainor, Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez.

Fans will have the opportunity to see Shelton get slimed and possibly win an award when the Kids’ Choice Awards airs March 12 on Nickelodeon.
