Bobbi Kristina Brown: Nick Gordon’s Attorney Withdraws From Case
January 31 marked the one-year anniversary of the tragic accident that ultimately claimed the life of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the lovely young daughter of the late Whitney Houston and her ex-husband, Bobby Brown.
According to ET, Bobbi Kristina’s family has filed a civil suit against her foster-brother-turned-boyfriend, Nick Gordon, for wrongful death.

Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub following an alleged altercation with Gordon. The incident was so eerily similar to the way Whitney Houston died three years before that speculation ran the gamut from attempted suicide to attempted murder. And if it was attempted murder, did the same person who tried to do away with Bobbi Kristina find success with Whitney?
Sadly, after several months in a coma, Bobbi Kristina Brown succumbed to her injuries. Although a criminal investigation was ongoing, no charges have been filed against Nick Gordon or anyone else. The true cause of Bobbi Kristina’s death remains a mystery today.
The Brown and Houston families felt sure that the accident was caused by foul play and suspected Nick Gordon of attempted murder from the beginning. ET further reports that Nick Gordon, who had been represented by attorney Bryant Green, has lost representation.
Apparently, Green withdrew from the civil case against Nick Gordon on November 11 of last year. Nick remains unrepresented at this time, delaying the case.
Nick has always maintained his innocence and even took to Twitter to send an edited picture of himself with Bobbi Kristina for Christmas.

Bedelia C. Hargrove brought the case against Gordon last October in the amount of $10 million. Ms. Hargrove’s allegations echo those the family have stated time and time again.
“Ms. Brown died due to a violent altercation with Defendant (Gordon) after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after [Gordon] injected her with a toxic mixture.”
ET quotes an unnamed source who claims to know that Green declined from continuing to defend Gordon.
“Attorney Bryant Green is no longer working with Nick Gordon on his civil case involving Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family. There was a conflict of interest involving Nick and Bryant Green. At this time, the case is at a still point until Nick Gordon finds new counsel as he is currently without counsel working on everything pro se.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt, Leolah Brown, has been very vocal throughout the entire year since Bobbi Kristina was found in such a tragic circumstance. She has not been shy in calling it murder, and now, the Wrap reports that Bobby Brown’s sister has written a book about the deaths of both Bobbi Kristina and Whitney Houston.
In a Facebook post, Leolah reveals her intent to write the book which will “ANSWER ‘every’ single question that has come up in your minds concerning what REALLY happened and took place with my sister and niece.”
Leolah Brown has been at odds with the maternal aunt of Bobbi Kristina, Pat Houston, for some time now. It is likely that her name will appear somewhere within the pages of Leolah’s tell-all book. It is unclear if the book has already been written, or yet remains within the confines of Ms. Brown’s mind.
Do you think that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death was an accident or murder? Do you think Nick Gordon had anything to do with it? Will this mystery ever really be solved?
