Lisa Rinna Reveals Kim Richards’ Good Friend Thanked Her For Bringing Up Sobriety On ‘RHOBH’

Lisa Rinna has been accused of stirring the pot often on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yet, it is her stirring the pot that helped Kim Richards, or at least that’s what one of Kim’s friends told her. During Lisa’s appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show, Watch What Happens Live, on Tuesday night, she revealed that one of Kim’s good friends recently reached out to her to thank her for talking about Kim’s sobriety on Season 5 of Real Housewives.

During the show, which also featured Lisa’s husband, actor Harry Hamlin, as a guest, a caller asked Lisa if she thinks her life would be easier if she didn’t stir the pot so much. Lisa asked the caller if she would enjoy the show as much if no one stirred the pot. Lisa then said that it’s not so much her stirring the pot, but just saying whatever she’s thinking and not being afraid to do so.

Harry then chimed in that someone close to Kim actually thanked Lisa for stirring the pot regarding Kim’s sobriety.

“A good friend of Kim Richards just reached out to us recently and said how grateful [Lisa] had, I guess, stirred the pot in and around Kim last season because then she was able to get some help and be able to, you know, get back on track. And this person, who’s very close to Kim said, you know, if Lisa hadn’t brought that up and hadn’t shown such light on it, it may not have happened.”

Lisa Rinna also talked about the scene that she filmed with Kim Richards for season 6, which viewers will see later this season. Lisa said that she and Kim had “a moment.” Lisa added that she doesn’t want Kim’s sister, Kyle Richards, to feel as if she has to take sides.

“We definitely have a moment. And there’s a lot of unfinished business here obviously and I respect Kyle so much so it’s very difficult because it is her sister and I would never expect Kyle to take sides… She’s always going to be supportive of her sister and I would never expect anything else. I hope there’s a way for us to move forward… I love all the girls.”

A preview shows that viewers will see one scene in which Lisa and Kim have sit down conversation about what happened between them last season. Kim tells Lisa that she really pointed some nasty fingers at her, while Lisa tells Kim that she needs to own up to what she did.

As for how things are with Kim now, Lisa revealed that she recently sent Kim an e-mail to send her condolences after hearing that Kim’s ex-husband and good friend, Monty Brinson, had died. Lisa revealed that she and Harry had some amazing moments with Monty. Lisa said that she did not receive a response, but that she’s okay with that.

On Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa started asking questions about Kim’s sobriety after witnessing some very alarming behavior from her. During their car ride together to Eileen Davidson’s poker party, Kim behaved erratically and didn’t make much sense. In her blog post recapping that episode, Lisa revealed that prior to their car ride together, Kim was acting as if she was high on something when she arrived to her house and asked to use the bathroom.

After that, Lisa kept asking why the issue of Kim’s sobriety was supposed to be kept quiet. During the group’s vacation in Amsterdam, Kim, fed up by people talking about her sobriety, lashed out. Kim particularly lashed out at Lisa, asking her if they should talk about what her husband did, implying that Harry did something that Lisa was keeping a secret. Lisa became enraged at the mention of her husband. She stood up from the table, threw a wine glass down at the table towards Kim, and screamed.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, after the disastrous Amsterdam dinner scene aired, Harry voiced his support for his wife for defending him and joked about the misdeed that he supposedly did.

On Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live, Harry Hamlin gave his thoughts on the fact that his wife, still upset over what Kim Richards said about her husband, sent Kim threatening texts after filming for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 had ended. Kim read the texts out loud on the Season 5 reunion show. Harry again voiced his support for Lisa Rinna.

“Go girl… Yeah she can be impulsive from time to time… but that’s why I married this girl… I got the whole package okay?”
