Justin Bieber Celebrates Pals’ Birthdays At Gay Club Before Impromptu 1OAK Concert
Justin Bieber loves a party. And on Saturday, the pop superstar took a trip to a gay bar to celebrate the birthdays of two pals before bar-hopping and ultimately putting on an impromptu “concert” at the 1OAK club in Los Angeles. More on that below.
The heartthrob was part of a group ringing in the birthdays of Bieber’s longtime dance choreographer, Nick DeMoura, and tour dancer Jonathan Rabon, with a surprise trip to the gay-oriented Club Cobra to spice up the hijinks.
Two humorous Instagram videos shared by another Bieber tour dancer showed the Canadian star and friends being driven to the Club Cobra. To add to the fun, Rabon and DeMoura were blindfolded so that they couldn’t see where they were being taken.
During the clip, dancer Mykell Wilson dubs the birthday boys “Batman and Robin” and jokes that “they don’t even know.” As it turned out, this was a reference to the gay bar destination.
See below for footage of Bieber and his crew larking about on their way to the hot spot in one of the singer’s rides.
Update: TMZ incorrectly claimed Bieber went to the Cobra club alone except for one bodyguard, where he ordered one beer during his alleged 9-10 p.m. stop, and was seemingly unaware that it was a gay bar.
However, the X17Online agency published photos of Bieber leaving the Cobra bar with DeMoura, Rabon, and other pals, but identified them as “some dudes.”

In addition, another eyewitness, Rodrigo Toledo, who works at the Cobra recalls serving Bieber and his friends.

Toledo left his comment at the Cobra Club’s Instagrammed pic of Bieber and a club security guard. The Inquisitr subsequently contacted the bartender, who confirmed Bieber arrived at Club Cobra with around six friends and security.
An adult events promoter also shared a photo on Instagram of Bieber standing next to the Club Cobra bouncer.
“Justin Bieber in the house @clubcobra!!! Take that!!! #clubcobra #noho #justinbieber #boom,” reads the caption.
Shortly after posting its innuendo-filled story, X17 updated with a video of Bieber leaving the Cobra Club with DeMoura, Rabon, and other pals.
The clip clearly proves TMZ’s Bieber’s “solo” visit claim is false.
There’s no telling how little or much of a good time Bieber and his friends had at Cobra. But we do know the festivities continued at the 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood.
Well known for jumping onstage at clubs to perform mini-concerts of his latest hits — “Sorry,” “What Do You Mean?” and “Where Are U Now?,” to name a few — the clearly turnt up prince of pop was back at it at 1OAK this past weekend.
Hey, no judgment. What red-blooded twenty-something male (or female) doesn’t let off steam over the weekend? It’s not as if we haven’t all seen “Downtime Drunkstin” before.
Obviously, the Biebs’ voice wasn’t as on-point as it usually is. But, he did have gems of a different kind to offer the likely bemused but delighted crowd.
In addition to throwing down on “Wait For A Minute,” his buzzy collaboration track with Tyga, the Biebs offered party-goers a peek into his heart.
At one point, the singer had his very own Sally Fields 1985 Oscars moment, telling the audience, “How many people thought, how many people thought, that you would like Justin Bieber?”
Seemingly incredulously the Biebs — who earned his comeback in 2015, which he capped with Purpose — then told the cheering crowd, “I didn’t even know!” See the moment here.
At another point, the clearly “merry” young star asked, “Who wants to be the best you can possibly be?” Amid mostly affirmative feedback from the audience, the Biebs jokingly added, “If you can’t feel what I said, get the f*** out of here!”
Meanwhile, on Sunday, DeMoura and those who were part of the birthday group, shared photos and messages online. It looks as if a great time was had by all. (Scroll to the bottom of the page for pictures.)
For Justin’s part, he tweeted DeMoura saying that he had a good time but couldn’t remember what had happened. Hours later, the singer shared an Instagram video of himself playing an acoustic guitar over a snippet of a seemingly new jam.
Perhaps, the Biebs will debut the full version of the song at a future impromptu concert? Given his habit for surprising clubgoers, it’s almost guaranteed.
