‘Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4’: DLC, Character Roster, Gameplay, And All You Need To Know

We are nine days from the launch of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, the epic and equally heart-breaking ending to the four-part franchise of the Ultimate Ninja Storm but have you decided yet whether to pre-order or even buy the title?

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the final installment to the official Naruto videogame franchise developed by CyberConnect2 and distributed by Bandai Namco. Almost every otaku or even part-time anime enthusiasts would swear that they have at least related to the Naruto franchise. Seeing the last installment of Naruto’s Ultimate Ninja Storm and the last chapter of the manga will nearly drive any Naruto fan to tears.

In an announcement at the PlayStation Blog, CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama reveals the amount of effort and excitement his team has invested on Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. An unthinkable character roster, epic gameplay, and a whole lot of exciting DLCs await Naruto fans who will get their hands on Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.

The character roster at Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be amazing, bringing together all the characters from different generations. If you think of a Naruto character who can fight, then he or she will most probably be playable in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. You can pit Naruto against his kid, the first hokage against Boruto’s generation, and every villain in the story; the combinations and possibilities are endless! The characters even have different forms available to access new attacks and play styles, new combo attacks, hidden techniques, and Combination Secret Techniques. It was an ambitious proposal at first, but it was only a worthy ending to the epic franchise.

Matsuyama underlines that this huge character roster is especially useful in the new gameplay they deviced, where you can switch control between your three chosen characters. If you remember the gameplay of the previous Ulimate Ninja Storm, the game lets you choose a leader and two sub-characters who you can summon for assistance and for combo moves. In Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, you will be able to switch your team leader during battle (think Tornado tag) to create the best and most epic playing style and gaming experience.

And, of course, the epic Story Mode that ties together all the elements. Matsuyama is so proud of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 that it’s a shame to pass up.

“We take you all the way through the 4th Great Shinobi War to the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke. I may be a bit biased, but when all the pieces come together; atmosphere, animation, art, special effects, gameplay, and music, I feel like it’s a work of art. The final battle is so amazing it even made me cry.”

Teasers of the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 gameplay have been made available previously. The previous videos by Bandai Namco are preview battles between Minato Namikaze, Mighty Guy, and Rock Lee Versus Madara; between Rin Nohora and The Last version of Hanabi Hyuga versus the kid versions of Obito Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake; and a gameplay of the The Last versions of Sakura, Hinata, Naruto, and Sasuke. In addition to the game, a succession of DLCs and a Season Pass full to the brim with add-ons are available for Naruto fans who are willing to take this epic finale seriously. The GameStop listing of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Season Pass reads as follows.

Those listed above are only a small bite of the DLC for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. The official website for the Naruto videogames revealed that playable scenarios, costumes, Combination Secret Techniques, item sets, ninja info cards, matching voice, costumes from previous games, and playable character packs will be spread out in each of the four DLC packages that will be released for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 but no official list is available.

If you want to have access to playable Boruto and Sarada, and Kakashi’s Hokage outfit, you will have to get cracking right now and pre-order Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 from your local or online store since these are exclusive content and will not be available in the future.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will take the world by storm on February 9, 2016.
