Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Pitt Own Jesse James Custom Cisco 1911 Guns
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt have spoken out before on the importance of owning guns, and it turns out they each own an exceptional weapon – a matching pair of custom Cisco 1911 firearms.
Several celebrities have entered the gun debate in recent times, including the famous duo Brangelina. In an article on Moviepilot, they are in famous company with their views on gun ownership, including, but not limited to Jeremy Renner, James Earl Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Pratt, Steven Spielberg, Johnny Depp and Robert Downey, Jr.; although, the latter did mention his had been confiscated due to his criminal convictions.
The Iron Man actor mentioned that he hopes they will return his belongings as, “It’s not like I did anything with the gun except pretend that I was skilled in its use.”
Getting back to Brangelina, according to Moviepilot Angelina was heard to say, “If anybody comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids… I’ve no problem shooting them.”
Jolie Pitt went on to say that they bought original, genuine guns of the same type used in the Tomb Raider franchise for home security and that she would be able to use them if she had to.
“I could handle myself.”
Pitt said he feels better having a gun. He got his first BB gun while still in nursery school, had his first shotgun by first grade and shot his first handgun by the third grade, despite the fact he grew up in a “pretty sane environment.”
It has now come to light that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt not only own guns, but they have a classic custom pair of Cisco 1911 firearms, created by the infamous customizer and former reality TV show star, Jesse James.
Looking at the Jesse James Firearms Unlimited website gives an idea of the guns he has customized since he had enough with Hollywood, including several Cisco 1911 guns.
As reported by Forbes, James explained how he built the custom pair of Cisco 1911’s for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
“Both are Government size. Her’s is chambered in 9mm and his in.45acp. Both are hand fit from all oversize parts, making them incredibly accurate, well shooting pistols.”
Reportedly, the slide of Angelina Jolie’s pistol (see below) is engraved with the words, “Mama Knows Best.” Brad’s gun has the words “Big Papa” clearly inscribed on his.

In the wake of the Aurora shooting in 2012, Brad Pitt voiced his resistance to stricter gun laws. In that same year, there were rumors floating around that Pitt had spent around $400,000 to build a shooting range and armory for his future bride at their Miraval estate in southern France. Pitt shot down the rumors soon afterward, but he did mention that Angelina is a really good shot.
In an interview with the Independent back in 2014, Angelina Jolie Pitt said she had gone to a range with sniper rifles and other guns and that she and Brad enjoy shooting a lot. She said it is something they definitely have in common.

Rather ironically, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fell in love while playing the roles of a married couple who are assassins in the 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
As for Jesse James, he used to have the reality shows Monster Garage and Jesse James is a Dead Man, but has been running Jesse James Firearms Unlimited since 2013. James is also the CEO of West Coast Choppers.
