Drake has been teasing fans with the impending release of his fourth studio album, Views From The 6 , since announcing the project back in 2014, but it looks as though the rapper may finally be ready to drop some long-awaited news about his album on tonight’s new episode of OVO Sound Radio.
After teasing that his new album would be “coming soon” during his New Year’s Eve celebration in Miami four weeks ago, Drake fans have been on the lookout for any updates regarding the status of Views via the rapper’s social media accounts.
While Drake has been sharing plenty of behind-the-scenes photos of his recording process for Views From The 6 , the “Hotline Bling” rapper surprised fans on Saturday after he took to Twitter to seemingly hint that something major is coming during tonight’s fourteenth episode of OVO Sound Radio.

“OVO Sound Radio Episode 14 tmrw at 3PM PST/6PM EST…it begins,” Drake wrote on Twitter in the early hours of Saturday, January 30.
While Drake didn’t offer any information regarding what fans can expect from tonight’s live radio show, rumors have suggested that anything from a release date confirmation for Views to a full album release may be in store for Drake fans this evening.
Shortly after Drake’s Twitter announcement, DJ Akademiks took to the social media site to speculate on what Drake may be planning for his hosting gig on tonight’s OVO Radio show.
“Expecting a lot,” DJ Akademiks explained in response to Drake’s cryptic tweet. “Last 2 Times Drake hosted OvO Radio..He Dropped WATTBA and before then, Hotline Bling and Charged up. Hopefully we get some VFT6 later 2day.”
Given Drake’s history of dropping exclusive new music releases via the Apple Music program, fans are holding out hope that Drake will either release the first official single off of his fourth studio album or perhaps even release Views From The 6 altogether.

Despite the speculation, rumors surrounding a tentative release date for Drake’s VFT6 continue to suggest that the “Back To Back” rapper may wait until February to debut the album.
Last week, Complex alleged that Drake may be purposely waiting to drop Views in February following the release of Kanye West’s WAVES on February 11; the duo have been dropping hints about a potential collaboration on social media over the past few weeks, with West having recently sampled Drake’s uncle, Larry Graham, on his track “No More Parties in LA.”

In addition, several outlets have also speculated that with Drake serving as a coach for this year’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game, which will be hosted in Drake’s native Toronto, the rapper may choose to drop Views during the festivities. It’s also worth noting that Drake’s most recent solo mixtape release, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late , dropped during All-Star weekend last year.
Despite the February release rumors, some fans are holding out hope that Drake will deliver Views From The 6during tonight’s radio show given the fact that the rapper hinted at a January release for the project in his “30 for 30 Freestyle” rap in 2015.
“The pen is working if you n***** need some ghost lines / I thought you wanted yours like I wanted mine / I guess you just making moves on your own time / But just know it’ll be January in no time.”
One fan alleges , “30 for 30 freestyle-> it’ll be January in no time-> January 30 th (30 for 30)-> OVO Sound Radio hosted by Drake tonight->#Views tonight.”
Tune into OVO Sound Radio’s 14 th episode tonight at 3 p.m. PST/ 6 p.m. EST on Apple Music ‘s Beats 1 radio to hear what Drake has in store.
