Beyonce Coldplay Video Stuns Amid Pregnancy Rumor: Chris Martin & Queen Bey To Perform For Super Bowl Synergy
Beyonce is receiving kudos for her starring turn in the new Coldplay video. The Friday release from Chris Martin’s band gave reason to proclaim TGIF, because the Coldplay music video “Hymn for the Weekend” gives Beyonce the opportunity to show off her impressive repertoire, reports People.
Queen Bey flaunts a red and gold outfit and, proving that it’s good to be the queen, even sports a crown and cape as she dances. The Coldplay video also shows Chris celebrating his band’s musical brilliance. The video uses Mumbai as the background.
A friend of both Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow (Martin’s former wife), Beyonce teamed up with Coldplay when Chris got inspired by another musician. That “kernel” resulted in the video.
“The original kernel was that I was listening to Flo Rida or something, and I thought, it’s such a shame that Coldplay could never have one of those late-night club songs, like ‘Turn Down for What,'” shared Martin.
That’s not the only opportunity for fans to enjoy the combination of Beyonce and Coldplay. In addition to the video, they will appear as part of the Super Bowl 50 halftime show in February. Kelly Rowland gave a shout out to the synergy of Beyonce and Coldplay, noting that Destiny’s Child will not be part of their combo.
“This is Coldplay’s show, and I’m excited to see what they’re gonna do,” declared Kelly. “It’s gonna be great.”Coldplay will be touring as part of their promotion for A Head Full Of Dreams, the seventh album from Martin’s band.
Beyonce Coldplay Video Precedes Super Bowl Synergy
As for the Super Bowl collaboration, Beyonce will be joining Coldplay when they perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on February 7, reports ET.
The video provided a sneak peek, because it’s anticipated that Coldplay will be using “Hymn for the Weekend” as their headliner. That song is part of their A Head Full of Dreams album and features Beyoncé’s vocals.
It’s not just Beyonce who will join Coldplay. Bruno Mars will join Coldplay, as well. It’s déjà vu all over again, as Beyonce took charge at the Super Bowl in 2013, and the “Uptown Funk” crooner wowed the crowed in 2014.
How does Chris Martin feel about it? The Coldplay frontman isn’t holding back.
“Are you kidding me? It’s the greatest moment of our band’s life. We’re going to give it everything we have,” gushed Martin.
There just might be some surprises. Coldplay artistic director Phil Harvey hinted on additional special appearances.
“Today, it’s about how do we stage our special guests. Yesterday, what I was nervous about, it was all about the set list,” shared Harvey.
Mark your calendar for Super Bowl 50 on February 7 in Santa Clara, California’s Levi’s Stadium. The show will be broadcast live on CBS.
Is Beyonce Pregnant?
As Beyonce stuns professionally in the Coldplay video, fans were recently surprised to learn of rumors that Queen Bey may be pregnant again with a little princess (or prince). Beyonce and Jay Z currently have one daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who is 4, but when Queen Bey seemed to be using a huge coat to try to disguise a blossoming baby bump, the pregnancy rumors soared, according to Hollywood Life. The reports that Beyonce is pregnant for the second time increased when she seemed to be constantly keeping her bathing suit covered during a vacation with her family in Spain and France. While Blue Ivy had a fabulous time showing off her adorable bikini, her mother stayed carefully covered.
Additionally, in Italy, Beyonce sported a high-waisted skirt and bikini top that also seemed designed to hide a baby bump. Is it time to prepare Blue Ivy to become a big sister?
