Kim Kardashian Weight Loss: ‘KUWKT’ Star’s Diet Is Unhealthy, And Kanye West Is Encouraging It?

Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, are currently being thrust into the spotlight as the rapper’s feud with Amber Rose takes Twitter by storm, but at home, the couple is reportedly dealing with other problems.

According to a Life & Style article, via an OK! Magazine report on January 28, West is no fan of his wife’s post-baby body, and despite her claims of having already dropped 30 pounds, he is reportedly suggesting she use any means necessary to get her body back to size.

The report claimed West wants Kim Kardashian to lose weight ASAP and has even told the reality star and mother of two that his favorite designer and longtime friend, Riccardo Tisci, could make her the perfect outfits “if she was back in shape.”

At 4 a.m., claimed the magazine source, Kim Kardashian “starts doing stomach crunches in the middle of the night, even though her doctor specifically told her she shouldn’t be doing ab workouts yet.” In addition, Kim Kardashian is said to be spending two hours in the gym — twice a day — while she completely cuts carbs out of her diet.

“As soon as she gave birth, Kim Kardashian ordered her chef to start cooking carb-free meals, according to the Atkins diet plan and then she modified the plan to make it even stricter by cutting out important facts,” the source revealed.

According to a second report, via Extra TV, Colette Heimowitz, the Vice President of Nutrition Education and Science at Atkins, recently spoke of Kim Kardashian’s plan to lose 40 pounds of baby weight. In 2013, after welcoming first child North West, Kim Kardashian followed the Atkins plan, and now, she’s the brand’s ambassador.

“[Kim Kardashian’s] smart and she’s motivated and she’s committed,” Heimowitz explained.

According to the VP, Kim Kardashian is currently breastfeeding, so she’s started out on the Atkins 40 program, which is described as a “new entry point for Atkins” and allows her to consume more carbs than she would on their other meal plans. This goes against Life & Style’s report, which claimed Kim Kardashian had cut out all carbs, but it doesn’t necessary mean that Kim Kardashian is following the exact plan, either.

Heimowitz went on to reveal that Kim Kardashian should be back to her desired weight in no time, as she will reportedly lose two pounds each week if she follows their guidelines.

“We can pace the weight loss at two pounds a week, so that it won’t affect her breast milk, and she gets adequate protein from chicken, fish, and some [red] meat, dairy from Greek yogurt and some cheese, lots of vegetables… low glycemic fruits like berries, healthy fats like nuts and olive oil — so many choices for her to make a healthy diet.”

Along with the diet, Kim Kardashian is spending time in the gym, Heimowitz stated, which isn’t out of the ordinary for the longtime reality star.

“She’s also exercising, so she’ll sculpt her body with a personal trainer and lose 40 pounds of fat with us, and if it’s two to three pounds a week, it will take a couple months,” she explained.

Kim Kardashian has been keeping a low profile since welcoming her second child, and although she’s been spotted a couple of times in Los Angeles, she’s kept her post-baby body under wraps.
