Michigan Militia Attack Flint Water Crisis, Defend Oregon’s Ammon Bundy, Lavoy Finicum [Video]
The Genesee County Volunteer Militia, a Michigan militia which joined Flint water crisis protests alongside known progressives like Michael Moore, may also support another well known conservative cause. According to this Michigan militia, Ammon Bundy’s Oregon militia are “patriots” and the Robert Lavoy Finicum shooting video was the result of the FBI “assaulting their vehicle.”
The Flint water crisis has resulted in many diverse groups rallying around the town after the tap was shut off. Not only is the water unsafe, the government has allegedly even threatened to take children from their parents if Flint water bills are not paid in full. In response, we have political figures like Michael Moore and Jeb Bush joining into the fray, and celebrities like Mark Wahlberg, Sean Combs, The Game, Madonna, and Jimmy Fallon have all contributed millions of dollars towards Michigan’s water crisis.
“We’re here to defend this community. We’re not going to allow (the government) to step on the people of Flint any longer. If it means having to take up arms in defense… we will do that as well.”
Although the presence of the armed militia may seem odd next to the likes of Michael Moore and Jesse Jackson, Krol says, “This is not a racial issue, unlike some people last week tried to say. It’s a human issue.” Another militia man agreed, saying, “The only color that was involved is green.”

Oregon Militia Arrests: Lavoy Finicum Murdered, Witnesses Claim
The Genesee County Volunteer Militia also supports Ammon Bundy’s Oregon Militia. When members of the Michigan militia first heard about the shooting of Finicum, Krol wrote on Facebook that “Finicum finished his final watch as a defender of freedom in Burns, Oregon protecting his faith and fellow patriots at criminal hands of government agents.”
Even as the Michigan militia protests the Flint water crisis, they announced that they are at “orange alert level,” which means they believe there is a “high risk of terrorist attacks.” In explaining the justification for raising their alertness level, Krol admitted they have “been on continuous code orange since the Paris and San Bernardino terrorist attacks,” but he also likened the severity of the Oregon standoff to ISIS terrorist attacks.
“However, with the FBI luring the patriots in Oregon out to have a meeting with the Sheriff, then assaulting their vehicle while traveling to that meeting, killing one and arresting the others, it was time to re-post the code orange!” he explained.
One of these witnesses is named Victoria Sharps. She claims Finicum asked Oregon police to exit the vehicle unharmed, but when he put his hands out the car window the police allegedly “shot at him, but they missed.” In response, the militia members tried to drive away, but crashed into a snowbank.
“When we crashed and stopped for a second, he got out of the car, he had his hands in the air, he’s like ‘just shoot me then’….and they did, they shot him dead,” said Sharps. “He was just walking, with his hands in the air, I swear to God, and they shot him dead and after he was down on the ground, shot him three more times.”
Other witnesses disagree with this testimony, claiming Finicum charged at authorities before he was shot.
“He was not on his knees, none of that. He was none of that nonsense,” explained Mark McConnell, a bodyguard for Ammon Bundy who was present for the shooting. “You know, that was a miscommunication on somebody else’s part. But he went after them. He charged them. You know, LaVoy was very passionate about what he was doing up here.”
In response to the controversy, the FBI released the full Robert Lavoy Finicum shooting video.
FBI agent Greg Bretzing claims the police on the scene shot Finicum because he was armed with a handgun.
“Agents and troopers on scene had information that Finicum and others would be armed. On at least two occasions, Finicum reaches his right hand toward a pocket on the left inside portion of his jacket. He did have a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in that pocket. At this time, OSP troopers shot Finicum,” he said.
