Justin Bieber Has ‘Something Special Coming’ With Post Malone, Plus Bryson Tiller Speculation
Justin Bieber isn’t resting on his laurels after dropping his critically acclaimed latest album, Purpose. A collaboration between the hip hop artist, Post Malone, and the prince of pop is on the way.
The news came via the two artists, with Post hinting about the team-up days ago when he Instagrammed a snap of the pair hanging out backstage at this year’s edition of the CaliBash urban music festival in L.A.
Malone, 20, captioned it, “Just wait on it.”
Fast forward to Justin sharing a black-and-white shot of himself with Malone on Friday evening (January 30), which appears to be a throwback from the festival.
“Got something special coming @postmalone,” the Canadian teased.
Naturally, Justin Bieber fans and the rest are curious to hear what the pop icon and Malone have cooked up together.
The “Sorry” singer’s work with Travi$ Scott — “Maria I’m Drunk” on the rapper’s Rodeo debut, and tracks like “No Sense” with Scott, “No Pressure” with Big Sean, and “We Are” with Nas, along with nearly every cut on Purpose, and standouts such as “Confident” from Journals which featured Chance The Rapper — revolutionized and transformed expectations of Bieber’s talent.

For Malone, since relocating to Los Angeles from Dallas, Texas, he has made a big name for himself. His signature track, “White Iverson,” hit SoundCloud last February. Produced by FKi Music, it snowballed on the Internet before eventually peaking at No. 14 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart.
As of January, it has achieved platinum status.
A remix by Rick Ross, French Montana, and Rae Sremmurd followed, and Malone’s self-titled EP led to buzzy jams such as “Tear$” and “Too Young.” These and SoundCloud releases,”#Mood”,” “Holyfield,” and “Boy Bandz” have maintained fans’ interest for Post’s full-length album debut.
Earlier this month, Malone tweeted that his highly anticipated record will drop in March. In a somewhat Michael Jackson-esque fashion, he added that it “will change the world” and his “journey.” He will also be a guest on the Welcome To The Zoo tour with Fetty Wap and Monty. See dates.
Time will tell what the Biebs and Malone’s studio lab time yields, and whether the 21-year-old superstar will be making an appearance on the latter’s album.

Sticking with collaborations, the following rumor has not been confirmed or even hinted at by the artists.
Nevertheless, certain parts of the Internet got seriously excited when hip-hop influenced R&B singer and sometime rapper Bryson Tiller shared pics of himself and Bieber following his celebrity-packed gig at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles in Thursday.
“Still not understanding how this is all happening. thx for coming guys @justinbieber @sevyn,” Tiller captioned the first snap, which also included the singer, Sevyn Streeter, who shared the same shot.
“Eli, jb & maejor smash bros talk. i got kirby always,” the Trapsoul singer noted alongside another.
Some Twitter users expressed excitement over a hypothetical Tiller-Bieber track. Over to the guys to make it happen.
