Taylor Swift Seeks Advice About Calvin Harris — Is Relationship On The Rocks?

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have been together for more than a year, and news this week explained that the ultra-popular singer is seeking out advice from friends about the relationship.

But don’t be concerned that the relationship is on the rocks. To the contrary, Taylor Swift is looking for relationship advice to help with her and boyfriend Calvin Harris in order to create a stronger relationship rather than to fix their problems, Hollywood Life reported.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have been dating since March 2015 and continue to remain in love. Taylor Swift wants to keep the positive energy in her relationship, and has been seeking the advice of her friends to ensure her and Calvin Harris remain together. While Taylor Swift has been in a series of relationships, being with Calvin Harris – six years her senior – signifies a more mature, adult relationship.

So far, though, things have been going fairly smoothly for Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris. The couple spent Christmas together and showed off their playful selves as they posed with a snowman in the woods. Also joining in on the fun was Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin. The picture was posted on Taylor Swift’s Instagram account.

Days later, on New Year’s Eve, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were still together. This time, they were in Las Vegas at the OMNIA nightclub, where Calvin Harris was deejaying. As People reports, Taylor Swift was cheering Calvin Harris on as she stood in the crowd. Her New Year’s Eve outfit included a black cut-out shirt with a lace overlay and a short, curly hairstyle.

Also there to celebrate New Year’s Eve was Ruby Rose, who plays Stella in Orange is the New Black. She posted a video on Instagram of her and Taylor Swift wearing fancy hats to ring in the New Year saying, “When @taylorswift looks perfect in a feather tiara and I look wrong. But HAPPY 2016!!!!!!!”

While Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris can live it up like true celebrities in Las Vegas, they are also equally comfortable doing ordinary couple things like dining out. Recently, at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, the two were gracious enough to pose for a picture for a fan during their date night. E! Online reports that the fan Ricky Selby was ecstatic to get the picture and later posted it on Instagram with the caption “awesome dinner with mom and dad.”

As for the future of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, the next step in their relationship seems to be moving in with each other. There have been hints that it may happen soon, but so far nothing has materialized. Fans shouldn’t expect to see Taylor Swift pulling up in front of Calvin Harris’s home in a U-Haul a la Miley Cyrus with reported fiance Liam Hemsworth as The Inquisitr previously reported.

The fact that the couple has been able to spend so much time together is a testament to their commitment, given their busy careers. Taylor Swift just launched the music video for her song “Out of the Woods.” It is the sixth single off of her 1989 album. Calvin Harris had a busy 2015 with the release of the single “How Deep is Your Love” and collaborated with Dillon Frances on the EP This Mixtape is Fire.

So far, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris seem to be learning from past relationships, both theirs and others. They carve out time from their busy schedules to be with each other and are trying to find ways to deal with any issues that may arise in the future.
