‘The Walking Dead’ News: Threat Coming From Within Before Negan Arrives
The Walking Dead is similar to other TV shows when it comes to certain formulas. Even though most details of the show are a closely guarded secret, fans of the comic book series know several details that contain spoilers.
But when it comes to The Walking Dead, there is a closely guarded secret in every episode that not even the comic book can ruin for their fans. The show has been a masterful weave of terror and suspense, always shocking its viewers to the core. Even when The Walking Dead premiered, it tricked viewers into thinking that there was some sort of hope in many different ways, all squeezed into 8 tiny episodes.
So, how will The Walking Dead progress in Season 6, Part 2? Well, fans should always pay attention to the little things. For those who were watching closely on the first half in 2015, then the little things are what’s about to add up and bring about a new death to the core group.
There are two possibilities for this, as also noted in Vanity Fair. The two most obvious choices for this fate are Daryl and Glenn. Both have been on The Walking Dead since the beginning, and they are both equally loved by the fans.

Glenn dies at the hands of Negan in the comic books, but that villain is not coming until the last episode of the season. So there is good reason to believe that Glenn may be getting a pass this season on The Walking Dead.
But Daryl is a total wildcard, and there are no spoilers for him in The Walking Dead comic books, given he’s a character that was created for, and only exists in, The Walking Dead TV show.
This is the part of the article where we tell you that there are some potentially major spoilers ahead for The Walking Dead. Especially in regards to the death of a major character on the show.

Still reading? Good, that means that you want to know why this article is reporting that the threat is coming from within. This all goes back to basic formulas for TV shows. Each show has its own playbook, created by the showrunners and producers. It is what The Walking Dead uses to move forward with the progressive storylines.
The formula is not always something that is made public, unless someone figures it out. So, here is what The Walking Dead has done to date.
Do you remember Andrea? She was a major character in seasons 1–3 of The Walking Dead. In Season 2, Andrea started to get a darkness floating over her head. It was something that eventually would separate her from the group and eventually land her in the arms of the Governor, where she met her demise.
Okay, so do you remember Lori? Of course you do, considering she was Rick’s wife and all. Lori thrived through Seasons 1 and 2, meeting her demise in Season 3. But when the pregnancy hit, fans saw both the dark and lighter side of her.
What about Dale, Shane, and Merle? They all three had major shifts in their dark side/light side character dynamics. Dale rebuked Shane by hiding the guns. Shane turned on Rick and died in a showdown. Merle saw the light and let Michonne live, only to meet his demise hours later.
If you haven’t already been able to figure it out, the formula in The Walking Dead is a major shift in a character’s personality traits that foreshadows his/her death. The only real wildcards to that so far have been Rick and Carol, who seem to be immune to the prospect of a formula death.

Daryl is another story altogether. He was the one in the beginning of The Walking Dead that everyone hated. But his character became more likable once they left the farm and hit the prison, which put him in the circle of trust.

Here lately, Daryl has been revisiting his rougher side, and it is altogether possible that he might not only die this season, but a showdown could happen between him and Rick. That showdown could end one of the two characters.
