Twitter Rant Explodes As Kanye West And Wiz Khalifa End Up In Twitter War
Kanye West unleashed an epic Twitter rant against Wiz Khalifa after West changed the name of his new album from Swish to Waves. West suggested that Khalifa had no claim to the concept of waves.
According to the New York Daily News West trashed Khalifa and criticized his music career.
“Bro first of all you stole your whole s— from (Kid) Cudi. Second, your first single was corny as f— and most there after.”
West’s Twitter rant wasn’t only critical of Wiz Khalifa, he was also critical of Khalifa’s relationship with stripper-turned-model Amber Rose. West had also dated Rose from 2008 to 2010, and he accused Khalifa of allowing Rose to trap him into a relationship. Rose replied with a tweet of her own and said that Kanye was just mad because she wasn’t around anymore. It didn’t stop there, as West took credit for Rose’s 2-year-old son and said that she wouldn’t have a child if it weren’t for West. West claimed he “owned” the child.

Porn star Lisa Ann then jumped in to defend Amber Rose. Lisa Ann threatened to release naked photos she claimed that Kanye had sent her. West later deleted all the tweets.
According to Hollywood Life, the reason Kanye West unleashed the epic Twitter rant was because Wiz Khalifah criticized the title of the West’s latest album. West unleashed the Twitter rant after he saw that Khalifa has dissed the latest title of his album Waves.
Kanye took to Twitter to announce the release of his new album, which he had been working on for the last three years. He announced that he would be changing the name from Swish to Waves. Max B., a rapper who is currently serving 75 years in prison for murder, robbery, and conspiracy charges, coined the terms “wave” and “wavy” when he released his album Toothy Wavy in 2012. Apparently an inspiration to Wiz, Max B. was angry that Kanye didn’t credit him with the use of these words. That kicked off Wiz’s pissed-off tweets that expressed the same sentiments.
Taken as a mortal sign of disrespect, this led to a 17-point rant on the part of Yeezy. In these Twitter rants, he outlined why Wiz sucks. The criticism included everything from the idea that Wiz had stolen some of his music from another artist, and West made it clear that Khalifa had taken West’s seconds when he started a relationship with Amber Rose.

What made the Twitter rant so bizarre is that West also threw in several complimentary tweets that included the hashtag #WizWearsCoolPants as West complimented Wiz on his style, leading many to believe that Kanye was trying to keep the confrontation semi-civil. Eventually, Kanye did give Max B. credit in a tweet and eventually Wiz responded with a “yeah, aight.” West ended the Twitter rant with “good energy, positive energy” and then deleted his tweets.
The confrontation between Kanye West and Wiz Khalifah caused Hollywood to stop and take notice. In another article by Hollywood Life, other stars were reacting to the Twitter rant, including Chris Brown. Chris said that he was totally engrossed by the exchange and even released a funny Twitter meme about what he saw and shared his feelings about the exchange. Brown said that the exchange had him glued to his account as he watched the explosive exchange between West and Khalifah. The Twitter rant became a must-watch after Amber Rose jumped into the exchange and released her racy revelations.
