Ed Sheeran: Watch Ed Get Out Of A Parking Ticket
Ed Sheeran is one of the most successful musicians these days. He is loved around the world and sells out in stadiums everywhere he goes. Forbes reports that Ed Sheeran, along with folks like Adele, Saoirse Ronan, and Alicia Vikander, has made Forbes‘ very first Europe 30 Under 30 Entertainment list.

If Ed Sheeran has managed to make this list in both the U.S. and Europe, he must be doing something right, and he certainly isn’t wanting for money, yet the Sun reports that Sheeran is perhaps too cheap to pay for parking. Sheeran was caught out with his girlfriend Cherry just recently and parked in a no-parking area. His solution to not getting ticketed was to put a previous ticket on his Mercedes in the hopes of not getting a fresh ticket. It’s not like he couldn’t afford to pay for parking or pay the fine for getting caught.

Oh well, even if Ed Sheeran doesn’t want to pay for parking, he is still a good human being, ready to help those less fortunate than himself. Chronical Live reports that Sheeran recently gave his time to entertain guests at the Alan Shearer Foundation Ball. Shearer said he was very appreciative of Ed Sheeran’s participation.
“Ed is one of the biggest stars in the music industry so we really appreciate it.”

Ed Sheeran has also shown his extreme generosity in the past. In 2014 he visited a fan that was battling leukemia. The New Zealand Herald reports that Jess Knight, who couldn’t attend an Ed Sheeran concert in 2014 after she had bought tickets, died this week. Sheeran had seen the shout-out to him, inviting him to come and visit Knight in the hospital the next time he was in New Zealand and he did that last April. Knight was so touched by his visit she expressed her sincere gratitude.
“I would just like to say a huge thank you to you guys. Thank you so much for all the sharing and hash tagging you guys did. You all helped make my birthday the best ever because, guess what!? We did it!!! Ed came and visited it! He was such a lovely guy! Really genuine and down to earth. I couldn’t stop smiling! Thank you again! You will never know how much it meant to me!”
And of course, Ed Sheeran is still well-loved around the globe. USA Today reports that Victoria Azarenka was listening to Sheeran as she prepared to play a match at the Australian Open on Saturday.
“Today I was listening to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Lay It All on Me.’ I fell in love with that song. I was dancing in my room to it yesterday. I asked my friend to share it with the world [on Periscope].”
Even though Ed Sheeran has been taking time off from social media to enjoy the world, fans are getting glimpses of him here and there. Stuff reports that Sheeran recently got together with chef Jamie Oliver in honor of Food Revolution Day and the pair produced a great video together. Oliver posted the video of their fantastic collaboration on Facebook.

Apparently, the video took an hour and a half to film and Oliver really didn’t want to be in it for fear of ruining it.
“The chorus is really catchy, and the others did an incredible job. I almost didn’t want to be in it, because I didn’t want it to be naff, but I kind of had to do it.”
The video turned out just fine and Ed Sheeran was a sport, participating and helping make it happen!
