Brooke Mueller: After Charlie Sheen’s HIV Status Prompted Drug Relapse, Now Sheen Is Selling Mueller’s Home
Brooke Mueller has been on a bit of a roller coaster ride since her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, spoke out about being HIV positive in November.
People reports that Mueller’s spokesperson said had been drowning in phone calls from friends and family.
“Brooke has been inundated with calls from friends and family. To put their minds at ease, Brooke can confirm that she and the boys are not HIV-positive.”

But apparently, Brooke Mueller hasn’t been dealing with life all that well in recent weeks and has recently checked herself into rehab. A source told People that she is in treatment by choice.
“[Brooke] is in treatment on her own accord. She needed to leave Los Angeles for a while… to get some peace and quiet.”
Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen have an amicable relationship. Mueller told People last September that they got along fine.
“We’re getting along fantastically.”
She also spoke of how the twins resemble their parents.
“Bob looks like Charlie but has my personality. Max looks more like me but acts like Charlie.”
Charlie Sheen has spoken out about the support he has received from Brooke Mueller during his health crisis. Radar Online reports that Sheen said Mueller was sad but supportive.
“Same with Brooke. She was sad for me but then realized that I’m a pretty tough customer and she knew I would handle it and do whatever I had to.”
Sheen said that he and Brooke Mueller are ultimately trying to do what’s best for their kids.
“Brooke is a character and she’s a great mom and, again, we’re trying to do what’s right for the kids.”
A source told Radar Online that Brooke Mueller’s decision to go back to rehab was to help her deal with Sheen’s decision to go public and how that decision affected her life.
“Brooke had a very difficult time in the immediate aftermath of Charlie’s situation going public. Even though she and the twins don’t have HIV, it just brought back a lot of very bad memories of the time when Brooke was married to Charlie. The relapse was swift and apparent to everyone immediately. Within two weeks of the relapse, Brooke decided to go to rehab herself. This was a huge step because Brooke recognized it.”

Apparently, Brooke Mueller even went to rehab, went back home, and then decided she still wasn’t ready.
“She went to rehab for several weeks, and came home, thinking everything would be okay. But being home was much harder than Brooke anticipated, and she once again made the decision herself to go back to rehab. She is committed to her sobriety.”
The last time Brooke Mueller was on social media was back in October, celebrating Halloween with the twins.
It probably didn’t help Brooke Mueller’s mental or emotional state when it came up that Sheen would have to sell the house he had bought for her and their children. Last November, People reported that tabloid reports of Mueller and the twins being kicked out of the house were false, but a source said Sheen was preparing to sell the house.
“Brooke and the boys did not get kicked out of the house. But Charlie does need to sell the house.”

Naturally, when your ex-husband comes out with being HIV positive and your home is going to be sold, meaning you have to uproot your family and move, it can be a lot to deal with. Clearly Brooke Mueller is working hard to get herself together. Good luck, Brooke!
