James Kennedy Parties With Lala Kent In Chicago But Is Actually Dating Someone Else
It seems that James Kennedy and Lala Kent are now just good friends who party and work with one another. The two Vanderpump Rules stars partied together in Chicago on Saturday night in celebration of James’ 24th birthday. However, the special woman in James’ life right now appears to be not Lala but Raquel Leviss, a model who aspires to be the next Miss California USA.
James and Lala hosted at SHAY Chicago on Saturday. James, who normally DJs at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR, performed a set at the club while Lala entertained the crowd with her presence.
The two traveled to Chicago together. Lala posted a photo of herself and James on the airplane.
After landing in Chicago, they went out for some pizza.
James later posted a photo of them at his birthday dinner.
Recent episodes of Vanderpump Rules have shown Lala Kent and James Kennedy flirting heavily with one another and James expressing romantic interest in Lala. In December, the two appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live and the Vanderpump Rules After Show together, where they gave off the impression that they’re a couple.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, when Lala and James were on the After Show, James said that the song “Only You aka Feeling You” was inspired by Lala. He said that after the end of his relationship with Kristen Doute, he didn’t think that he would fall for another person so quickly.
Yet it seems that James has been dating someone else for about a month already. On Sunday, Raquel Leviss, who is actually Miss Sonoma County USA 2016, wished James a happy birthday. Raquel wrote about how happy she is that they’re together and how many unforgettable memories they have from the past month. Raquel called herself “the luckiest girl to be able to call [him her] man.”
James replied with an equally sweet message.
“Love you babe I’m so lucky to of met you I can’t wait wait to see you and create more beautiful memories thank you for being you angel.”
Lala apparently approves of Raquel. In response to a photo that James posted of him and Raquel a week ago, Lala wrote, “Perfection.”
In mid-December, Lala went on The Nik Richie Podcast, where she revealed that she and James actually had sex once.

Yet Lala doesn’t remember the incident because she was so drunk.
“We f**ked one time and I was so blackout drunk I don’t remember one thing. And I know that everyone says that, but I will say, I take accountability for every single one of my actions and I’m owning that now. Because I saw the condom and the wrapper so I know that something happened…Well, he was like, ‘babe, we slept together last night,’ and he was like, ‘we got in your shower too babe.’ And I was like, ‘how the f**k did we both fit in there?’ Like, my shower is a two by four.”
After the host said that James pretty much raped Lala, Lala defended him and said that’s not what happened.
“People do that [blackout sex] all the time. I know for damn sure he’s not gonna rape me. I’ve known this kid for a long time… Well, we’re not gonna throw the rape-y card around because I didn’t feel violated. I just felt like, I mean, good for you.”
A preview for the second half of the current Vanderpump Rules season shows that viewers will see more drama between Lala Kent and James Kennedy. A scene shows Lala and James kissing while in Hawaii. Another scene from the Hawaii trip shows Lala yelling at James. “We did not have a successful f**k,” she yells.
