Kim Richards Thanks Fans For Support For Ex Monty Brinson While Kyle Richards Says She And Kim Are Doing Great

Kim Richards has received a lot of supportive messages from fans in regards to her ailing ex-husband Monty Brinson. On Friday, Kim tweeted her appreciation for all of the love and prayers that people have sent.

Kim said that the messages touch her heart.

In response to one fan who told Kim to do Monty proud when he leaves this earth and that he will help guide her from Heaven, Kim said that she will and knows that he will be guiding her from above.

In response to another fan who told her that she has a lot of people who genuinely pull for her despite not knowing her and that human kindness does exist, Kim said that she does know and that all of the support has helped her so much. Kim thanked the fan from the bottom of her heart.

Kim also celebrated with a fan whose dad has been sober for 38 years and agreed that the key is to just take it one day at a time.

Kim Richards is very close to her ex Monty Brinson, who is currently battling terminal cancer. The two have one daughter together, Brooke Brinson. Viewers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills saw Monty briefly on season 5, on the episode that showed Brooke’s wedding. The wedding took place at Kim’s sister Kathy Hilton’s house. As Kim’s other sister, Kyle Richards, explained in a blog post after the season 5 reunion show aired, the family had a small wedding at Kathy’s house so that Monty could walk Brooke down the aisle.

The subject of Brooke’s originally planned, bigger wedding in Cabo came up heatedly during the season 5 reunion show. Kyle accused Kim of not wanting to invite her to the wedding. Kyle sobbed as she said that she loves Kim’s children like her own. Kyle and Kim also fought over Kim’s reaction to her dog biting one of Kyle’s daughters.

As it turns out, Kyle did end up going to Brooke’s Cabo wedding in May 2015. As the Inquisitr reported, Kyle attended the wedding with her good friend Faye Resnick. Despite not being on speaking terms after their disastrous meeting at the season 5 reunion show, the two were able to put aside their drama to celebrate Brooke’s big day.

Although Kim is not a starring cast member on the current sixth season of Real Housewives, she will appear later on in a few scenes. So far this season, despite her absence, she has been a frequent subject of conversation among the women, much to Kyle’s dismay. In an interview with Page Six, posted on Saturday, Kyle said that her relationship with Kim is actually now “really great.” She explained what prompted her and Kim to start talking again.

“We didn’t talk for a long time and then she hurt her foot really badly – someone opened it on her with a bathroom door sometime around August. That kind of prompted me to call. I just felt so bad for her. She’s tortured lying with her foot up like this and she had such a hard year so it [started] the talking little by little.”

Kyle added that Kim, who has moved into a new house, is now “happy, healthy, strong and sober.” Kyle also said that they spent the holidays together.

A week ago, Kim posted a touching message in celebration of Kyle’s birthday.

Kim’s daughter Brooke also wished Kyle a happy birthday.

In her interview with Page Six, Kyle also expressed hope that the fact that Nicky Hilton is pregnant will help bring her and Kathy closer together.

“Don’t babies always [bring families closer]? I think so.”

The current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has revealed that Kyle also has a complicated sibling relationship with Kathy. On one episode, it was revealed that Kathy dis-invited Kyle to Nicky’s wedding. Although Kyle was later invited again and did go to the wedding, which took place in London in July 2015, Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, remained off the guest list. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the wedding drama reportedly stemmed from a work dispute between Mauricio and Kathy’s husband, Rick Hilton.

Yet Kyle Richards insisted to Page Six that she and Kathy Hilton are fine and love one another.

“The thing is, unfortunately, it was highlighted on the show and that’s the down side of being on a reality show. We go through things, but we’re fine and we love each other.”
