Blake Shelton Responds To The Gwen Stefani Pregnancy Rumors, But What About A Wedding?

Just because Blake Shelton’s relationship with Gwen Stefani is going extremely well, doesn’t mean Shelton is afraid of taking things slow. While the country singer recently shot down rumors that Stefani is pregnant, speculation of a possible wedding in the near future looms large. With that in mind, is it possible that the two Voice stars will be tying the knot anytime soon?

According to ET Online, Shelton was recently asked if he and Stefani had any plans to begin a family of their own together. In reply, Shelton was courteous, but quick to the point.

“I think it’s awfully early to be talking about that, don’t you?” Shelton said, adding that he and Stefani were really happy together.

While Shelton was definitely not open to discussing any future baby plans with Stefani, an inside source recently told Hollywood Life that Stefani may not be ready to exchange vows in the near future. Apparently, Stefani is still adjusting to her new life after her divorce and doesn’t want to dive back into a marriage so quickly.

“Gwen does not feel the need to go down a traditional path, she did the marriage thing and it didn’t work out,” the insider shared. “So she is not in a rush to go down that path again. But she is very serious about Blake, things are moving fast and she’s fine with it, they’re in love.”

Stefani recently went through a divorce this past summer with Gavin Rossdale. The two were married for a number of years and had three children together. Stefani and Shelton have been together since November and have not been afraid to express their newfound love.

In fact, Shelton and Stefani have spent a lot time together over the past two months. This includes visiting each other’s parents, going on vacations together, and spending the holidays in each other’s company.

During their travels across the United States, fans have had plenty of opportunities to spot the couple in action. This includes several sightings in Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma and Stefani’s place of residence in Anaheim California.

With the two currently shacking up in Stefani’s home in L.A., it is not clear if they will feel the need to plan a traditional wedding. However, given their level of commitment to each other, it would not be surprising if the two decided to get married soon.

Given their history of expressing their affection on social media, fans can at least rest assured that Shelton and Stefani will let the world know if they do decide to get married.

That being said, a wedding might not fit into Shelton’s busy schedule. Along with his work on the upcoming season of The Voice, the country star is gearing up to release a brand new album, which means he’ll be plenty busy in the months to come.

Speaking of his album, Shelton recently sat down with Country Countdown USA and discussed some of the details of his next project. With Shelton coming off a fresh divorce with Miranda Lambert, he promised that fans can expect an emotion-filled album.

“I want to get it out there,” he stated. “It’s driving me nuts to not be already into that project because it’s all I’m thinking about. I’m doing what I’m supposed to do, and that’s put all I’ve gone through and put it into music, and I never felt more connected to a record before. When people hear this record, they may not know what happened to me, but they’re gonna know how I felt about it. And that’s exciting for me, to just lay it out there for people.”
