Engaged Again: A New Start With An Old Beau For Miley!

Miley Cyrus is once again engaged to Liam Hemsworth. In 2012, Hemsworth popped the question with a beautiful ring, but the next year the couple called off the engagement. During this period of separation, Miley saw other people, including Patrick Schwarzenegger. When Miley’s relationship with Patrick came to an end, she quickly began to see Liam again and rang in the New Year with him in Australia. By the time she arrived back in New York, she had the engagement ring back on her finger and was showing off its beauty on social media all over again. Before the couple made the re-engagement announcement, there were hints of the couple getting back together, but no one really paid much attention – hints such as Miley helping Liam to adopt a dog and Liam telling Men’s Fitness that the two of them were not just a fling – you never get over someone when you love them that much. But by then, everyone was more focused on the idea of Miley dating Stella Maxwell. While this might be more interesting, the two were never an item and Liam and Miley couldn’t be happier.

Not only is the couple delighted with the re-engagement, but their families and friends are also supporting the renewal of this relationship. When Miley went to Australia for New Years, she was able to spend some great quality time with Liam’s family and the family who was unsure about the engagement in 2012 couldn’t be happier for the couple in 2016. Liam’s parents were unsure of the first engagement because they didn’t really know Miley, but now that they’ve had time to get to know her, the parents are on board. Miley’s friends are also very happy for her and continue to gush about how Miley truly does want to be married.

So can the couple pass the test of time? Some believe certain couples are just meant to be together. Then there are those who believe you need a break every once in a while. One can only hope Cyrus and Hemsworth realize it is hard to take a break once you are married. According to Us Magazine, Cyrus and Hemsworth have an on again off again relationship, making it difficult to really know if this engagement will conclude with a wedding, or if the dream of spending their lives together will be dashed once again. Miley seemed to go down an odd road when the engagement was broken the first time – it was during this same time period that she was shedding her Disney image. Given that, one wonders what will happen to her if the engagement were to end again.

Miley and Liam have had time to grow and mature since they were first engaged in 2012 and they are hoping things will work out this time. They’ve been seeing each other for quite some time and now they are moving in together, having already spent plenty of time at each other’s houses before making that decision. Their friends have spoken to the press and have reported that the lovebirds never really got over each other and have stayed in touch over the years. Also, according to friends, they’ve always had a chemistry that makes them perfect for each other – Liam is calm and gives Miley a relaxed side, while Miley has her wild side and Liam enjoys her eccentric personality. They also always have fun no matter what they are doing. The two seem to have it all and are enjoying their time spent together. Provided they’re both really ready for a relationship, they may be able to make it work!
