Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Engaged: Cyrus Is ‘Beyond Happy’
It’s official. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are engaged after spending two years a part. While the news of their reunion and subsequent engagement is just now hitting outlets, friends of the “Wrecking Ball” singer say that she’s over the moon about the engagement being back on.
According to People, a source close to Cyrus says she is “beyond happy.”
“Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again. It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months.”

The first inkling that there was a reunion in the making between Miley and Liam happened when the two were spotted at a music festival in Australia. Hemsworth, a native of Australia, celebrated New Year’s with the singer. The celebration got fans talking, as the pair hadn’t been out and about together in two years. While some people were hoping the engagement was back on, it seemed premature until Cyrus appeared in several photos sporting her gold band and diamond sparkler.
It’s now known that the ring Cyrus is wearing is her old Neil Lane engagement ring that the couple designed together.
“They just wanted to keep their relationship out of the spotlight while they figured things out. Liam never liked how exposed his life was with Miley.”
Seeing as Miley is still very much a public figure, some are wondering how it will translate this time around. According to a source, Cyrus is taking the proper precautions to ensure that this time their relationship will be different and remain out of the spotlight. As it is, Cyrus is not currently on tour and she’s not promoting a new album, either.

A source adds that this time seems different for both of parties, who have obviously learned from the first time around what not to do in a relationship. The source said that they are both, “making changes for their relationship to work. They both seem much more mature.”
Fans of the pair suspected that a major development was happening when Cyrus was spotted near Hemsworth’s home with a moving truck. Sources have said that Cyrus is beyond happy about the engagement because she wants to get married, and while Hemsworth’s family was hesitant at first, apparently a few hang outs in Australia really sealed the deal for them.
“Miley wants to get married. His family was very hesitant about a marriage in the past, but they really got to know Miley better when she spent time in Australia a few weeks ago. Everyone seems excited that they are back together.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Cyrus hung out with Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa, and it sounded like Liam Hemsworth’s sister-in-law was having the time of her life hanging out with Cyrus during the holiday.

The feeling is mutual, because according to a source that spoke to E!, Cyrus also had the time of her life.
“Miley came back to LA after spending the holidays with Liam. She had the time of her life being with him and his family.”
