Farrah Abraham Congratulates Maci Bookout On Her Engagement To Taylor McKinney, Is Their Feud Over?

It appears as though the feud between Teen Mom OG stars Farrah Abraham and Maci Bookout is officially over.

Following the announcement of Maci’s engagement to her longtime boyfriend Taylor McKinney, Farrah spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about her co-star, and said she is nothing but happy for the newly engaged couple.

“After her new fiancé proposed, they came to the studios to finish our reunion taping,” Abraham said. “I stopped by their green room to congratulate them. We all hugged and embraced and congratulated Maci!”

Farrah also dished on how the proposal took place. She revealed that McKinney, who shares a daughter with Maci, had purchased his girlfriend a custom-made diamond ring, and had tricked her into believing they were doing a photoshoot for MTV when he popped the question.

“It was very fitting and great to catch their memories for everyone to see,” Abraham said. “I look forward to supporting their engagement and look forward to their wedding.”

Farrah is currently the only Teen Mom OG star to remain single. Amber Portwood announced that she and her fiancé, Matt Baier, would be tying the knot in October, 2016, and Catelynn Lowell married her boyfriend of over a decade, Tyler Baltierra, in August, 2015.

“I’m sure they will both bounce ideas off each other as they plan,” Abraham said of Maci and Amber. “I’m excited to see their plans come together on their wedding days! Hopefully this engagement luck rubs off on me as I’m the only single lady left.”

Maci and Farrah have definitely had their share of differences. During one of the early episodes of Teen Mom OG, Maci almost quit the show when she realized that Farrah would be returning. She later agreed to stay on the show as long as her son, Bentley, wasn’t shown. However, she later allowed Bentley to be on the show, as well.

According to a previous report by the Inquisitr,Maci shared her exciting engagement news in an Instagram post on Tuesday, January 19. “Well y’all, my best friend asked me to marry him! I’m one lucky lady, I love you T!” Maci captioned a photo that showed her and Taylor kissing on the beach while she flashed her new diamond for the camera.

“We were on Venice Beach!” the mother of two explained to MTV shortly after the proposal. “He (and MTV) had told me that I was going to do an interview for MTV.com, which turned out to be a complete trick just to get me to the beach for him to ask me. When he asked me to marry him, I was in complete shock. I couldn’t believe that it was actually happening, and to be honest, I couldn’t believe that he had pulled it off without me figuring it out … because I usually know everything!”

“I honestly don’t think it has actually ‘hit’ me yet,” she continued when asked how she felt about being engaged. “But I am very excited and feel super blessed that I get to marry Taylor. He’s an amazing man and dad.”

Taylor made sure to ask Bentley for permission before proposing to his mommy, and after the proposal, Bentley was very emotional, according to Maci.

“He was shocked and emotional,” she said. “He actually teared up a little bit — I think his exact words were that he was just so happy that T-Money was finally going to be his step dad.”

“Jayde was pumped considering she is only eight months old,” Maci continued. “She has no idea what’s really going on.”
