Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth ‘Back Together And Very Happy’ — Is A Wedding In Their Future?

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially back together again, People confirmed in a recent article. With the announcement coming on the heels of a potential change of address for Cyrus, could a wedding be in the not-so-distance future?

While that answer is unclear, the article quoted a source close to Miley Cyrus that said she and Liam Hemsworth have reconciled. The source further detailed what happened to cause the power couple of Hemsworth and Cyrus to call it quits more than two years ago.

“Miley is where she has wanted to be for the past two years. Back with Liam and very happy. Miley never wanted to split. Things just got so bad that they really needed the break.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth rekindled their relationship over the holidays, and their future may look very solid as Miley Cyrus is now sporting a ring on her hand.

There has been no official word yet on the significance of the ring, but according to People, it looks very similar to the engagement ring that Liam Hemsworth gave Miley Cyrus in 2012.

“Now reunited, Miley seems ecstatic. She loves her life and is excited about the future. She always loved her engagement ring and was very proud of it.”

Sporting her ring, and talk of the two moving in back together, the next question is whether Hemsworth and Cyrus are planning a wedding in the future. “There is no date,” the source told People, noting “but they are back together and very happy.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth began dating in June 2009 while on the set of the Nicholas Spark film adaptation, The Last Song. They were together in an on-again, off-again relationship but eventually announced that they were engaged in June 2012. They subsequently moved in together in Los Angeles, but broke up in September 2013.

Since their breakup, both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been romantically linked to other celebrities. Miley Cyrus dated Patrick Schwarzenegger from December 2014 to April 2015 and Liam Hemsworth was linked to his Independence Day: Resurgence co-star Maika Monroe.

After a long absence and plenty of speculation, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth finally took steps to reconciliation when she flew to Australia to visit Liam Hemsworth and his family. At numerous events including a New Year’s Eve party, the couple were seen cuddling and kissing.

Back in America, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth attended a Golden Globes after-party together. According to the Daily Mail, the couple partied at West Hollywood’s SoHo House at an event thrown by CAA. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth definitely enjoyed themselves and many people witnessed them kissing and holding hands.

Since then there has been no official word from either Miley Cyrus or Liam Hemsworth, but Miley Cyrus seems to be letting her Instagram page do the talking. The singer posted a picture of herself with the ring prominently displayed as she wore a green polka dot outfit with a pink jacket.

While Miley Cyrus may have simply been sharing her latest unique outfit, what was really interesting was the engagement ring clearly visible on her finger. This ring looks very similar to the original ring that Liam Hemsworth gave her back in 2012. That original engagement ring was a Neil Lane cushion-cut diamond ring. The diamond was 3.5 carats and was handcrafted in 18-karat gold. The ring was also carved with a diamond floral motif.

There was speculation that Miley Cyrus would sell her ring and donate the profits to charity, but this was never confirmed.

Miley Cyrus was also noticed to be wearing the ring as she landed at JFK Airport in New York City on Sunday. As she walked through the airport and was photographed by paparazzi, her new ring was prominent.

In addition to the possible engagement ring, another sign that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have rekindled their relationship is the fact that they now might be living together. As the Sydney Morning Herald reports, Miley Cyrus was seen at Liam Hemsworth’s Malibu home on the weekend. She was with a moving truck and was unpacking.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are so far living a modern-day love story, complete with reconciling after a horrendous break-up, it now seems.
