Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith Gay, Oscar Boycott Hypocritical, Says Alexis Arquette

Gay rumors that have often dogged Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were brought up by trans actress Alexis Arquette in criticism of an Oscar boycott video released by Jada criticizing a whitewashed pool of nominees.

Alexis took to Facebook Tuesday afternoon to speak out against the traction gained by Pinkett Smith in the press for the video. Jada will not be attending the ceremony on Feb. 28 in protest of a lack of diversity in Oscars, but Aruqette is saying that’s ridiculous as she believes Will and his wife are gay.

“When Jada comes out as Gay and her beard husband admits his first marriage ended when she walked in to him… servicing his Sugar Daddy Benny Medina..then I will listen to them.”

Rumors have flown about the sexual proclivities of Pinkett Smith and her husband for several years, reported Complex. Some speculate that Will and Jada are only together because both are actually gay and using each other as a cover to keep their careers on track. Alexis alleged that both of them have actively worked against revealing their sexualities, claiming that Smith has even tried to over-direct scenes that would make him appear too gay.

“Will threw a fit on the set of Six Degrees of Separation when he was required by the scene to kiss Anthony Rapp. He persuaded the director to shoot the back of his head in frame. Blocking the non existant [sic] lip lock entirely. F**k him.”

Arquette’s major gripe with Jada’s Oscar boycott seems to be a perceived disconnect between her message and her actions. As Alexis believes Will is gay, she finds it strange for Pinkett Smith to be talking about a lack of a representation holding back a minority community in Hollywood. The couple, she argues, could be a hugely beneficial representative for the gay community if they were more open about their sexual preferences.

“Gays have enemies. They lurk in gilded closets. Outing is healthy. You are either with or against us. You decide. Today.”

In the comments below her post, Alexis continued to hound Will and Jada, saying that their marriage was only formed because Smith’s first wife caught him cheating with a man. She said that such behavior was disingenuous and harmful to gay youth, referencing controversial gay rights figure Michealangelo Signorelli who outed David Geffen and Malcom Forbes.

“I used to think Signorelli was wrong for outing. I’m completely for it now. Too many bullied teens dead.”

While it’s possible that Arquette knows insider details not released to the public, there’s never been a definitive public confirmation that either Will or Jada are gay. That, however, hasn’t stopped it from being celebrity tabloid fodder for a long time. Most recently rumors circulated that Smith was in a relationship with Trey Songz and later actor Duane Martin. Still, however tempting it is to fall prey to these suspicions, Alexis’ accusation about Oscar boycott hypocrisy also needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Apart from the gay rumor front, Jada Pinkett Smith’s Oscar boycott was also met with sharp disapproval by some other members of the Hollywood community. Will Smith’s former co-star Janet Hubert from his Fresh Prince days revived their old feud to diminish Jada’s gesture as nothing more than an empty complaint about failing to secure a nomination, reported E!
