‘Kocktails With Khloe:’ Kardashian Talks Fears As She Readies For New Show, Plus You’ll Never Guess Who The ‘KUWTK’ Star Names As Dream Guests

It’s normal for people to be scared when trying something new, and in that regard, we can all relate to Khloe Kardashian’s feelings.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is terrified for her new talk show, Kocktails With Khloe. The 31-year-old reality TV star told Catt Sadler of E! News:

“I’m so scared, but it’s OK.… Doing something I’ve never done before of course is like nerve-wracking.”

Khloe Kardashian’s new talk show, which is set to premiere on January 20 on the FYI Network, will feature a unique format in which “celebrity guests and friends will join Khloe in the kitchen and around the table for an intimate dinner party filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation and outrageously fun party games,” according to a news release from the FYI Network. While talking with Sadler, Kardashian went on to talk about guests she would absolutely love to have on the show. First on her list? Two guests that Kardashian knows are completely unrealistic.

“I would love to have a Marilyn Monroe and JFK. Who would want to have that? But even for totally separate reasons like not just their little scandal together, I would love to have them individually.”

Marilyn Monroe and President Kennedy are obviously not going to happen, but Khloe did mention a few celebrities who are a little bit more feasible, including Beyoncé and Rihanna.

“I mean I love Beyoncé, who doesn’t?. I don’t know if she drinks though, I wanna get someone a little loose. But I mean Rihanna’s fun and Rihanna will drink I feel like, we could do some shots.”

In recent weeks, Khloe Kardashian has been seen across the country working to promote her upcoming talk show, with appearances on Watch What Happens Live, The Howard Stern Show, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

During her media frenzy, Kardashian has talked about everything from the current health of her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, to how she would feel if her current boyfriend, James Harden, cheated. Kardashian played “Shag, Marry, Kill” with Andy Cohen and effectively ranked the love interests of her sisters, and she even revealed that she’d made a sex-tape with Lamar Odom.

The public relations tour comes on the heals of a difficult year for Khloe Kardashian, which included the news that Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas-area brothel in October. In the months that followed, Kardashian spent nearly all of her time helping to nurse her husband back to health, despite the fact that the pair had previously filed divorce papers.

Reports indicated that Odom had fallen unconscious after taking a dangerous mix of cocaine and a sexual performance-enhancing drug, and the 911 call indicated that Odom may have been foaming at the mouth and had blood streaming from his nose when he was found. Since the incident, the former NBA player has had to learn how to walk again all while regaining control of many cognitive functions.

Throughout the ordeal, Kardashian opted to withdraw her divorce papers, many say so that she could continue to make medical decisions for the former Los Angeles Laker. When Odom was released from the hospital earlier this month, some reports indicated that Lamar may have moved back in with Khloe.

It should come as no surprise that Lamar Odom’s current health status was one of the most common questions Khloe Kardashian faced while she was on her media tour, as the entire situation involving Lamar was one of the most shocking celebrity news events of 2015.

Khloe seems to have moved forward from the situation with Lamar the best way she knows how, though: by getting back to work.
