’19 Kids And Counting’ Star Josh Duggar Forced To Tell The Truth About Porn Star Trysts In Sexual Battery Case
The sexual battery case against 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar will be moving forward after all. Although Duggar tried to get a judge to dismiss the case based on faulty evidence, the truth behind his dealings with porn star Danica Dillon will be revealed in the coming months.
According to Radar Online, Duggar claimed that Dillon, who also goes by the name Ashley Stam-Northrup, did not have sufficient evidence to prove that he did anything wrong. However, U.S. District Court judge J. Kearney dissented and ruled that Dillon had enough proof and that the case would continue on.
“We decline to grant Duggar’s motion to dismiss at this early stage of litigation, where Stamm-Northup alleges Duggar treated her roughly, caused physical injuries, and she felt ‘as if she were being raped,'” the judge wrote in a recent statement.
Along with denying Duggar’s motion to dismiss the case, the judge also ordered the former reality star to provide the court with an official reply to the allegations telling his side of the story. This means that the truth regarding the matter will finally be revealed once the case goes to court on January 20.
For her part, Dillon decided to go to court against Duggar back in November. Dillon, who works as a stripper and porn actress, is suing Duggar for $500,000 and claims that Duggar abused her physically abused during several of their late night trysts.
According to the Daily Mail, the abuse happened more than once between the months of March and April. Apparently, Duggar paid over $500 in lap dance fees and dished out $1,500 to have sex with Dillon at a hotel. The abuse allegedly happened during their time at the hotel.
Although Dillon does not deny agreeing to sex with Josh Duggar, she did state that Duggar got too rough with her during their encounters. Furthermore, Dillon claims to have tried to stop Duggar’s physical advances but was unable to prevent him from abusing her.
In addition to the physical abuse, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Dillon suffered emotional side effects due to her encounter with Duggar. This included feelings of anxiety and symptoms similar in nature to post-traumatic stress disorder.
As fans may recall, the scandal with Dillon is not the first time the former reality star has been at the center of controversy. Duggar’s past problems, including child molestation charges, led to the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. Furthermore, Duggar recently signed into rehab after it was revealed that he cheated on his wife and is addicted to pornography. Duggar went to the rehab back in August and is likely still receiving treatment for his issues.
While Duggar’s latest motion to throw out the case fell flat, TMZ is reporting that the former 19 Kids and Counting star is trying to get the case dismissed on the grounds that he has never met Dillon. In his latest filing, Duggar provided the court with an alibi as evidence that he was not even in the same state as Dillon when the alleged affair went down.
Whether or not the judge will throw out the case given the new alibi is yet to be seen. Considering how much evidence Dillon has provided the court, it does not seem likely that Duggar will be successful in getting the case thrown out. That being said, there is always a possibility that the two parties will settle out of court for the damages.
More information regarding the case should be released following the next court hearing, which is currently scheduled to go down on January 20.
