Liv Tyler Announces She’s Pregnant With Third Child
Liv Tyler took to Instagram once more to share some exciting news. The actress is pregnant for a third time, and let the world know on January 8, when she posted a gorgeous black and white photo of herself with her hand on her tiny baby bump. Tyler smiles her famous smile and is glowing in the shot, which she captioned fittingly. Wonderwall relays the description given by Liv, herself, underneath the post.
“Oh my goodness it seems the stork is visiting us again!!!! I am growing another little Tyler Gardner in my belly. Our family is growing!!! So grateful. @davidgardner I love you.”
This will be the 2nd child for Liv and her fiancé, David Gardner, yet her third child in total with 11-year-old son Milo, who she welcomed in 2004 with ex-husband Royston Langdon, being her first. The couple recently became engaged and have experienced double joy with this exciting news.
David, who also has a child from a previous marriage, showed just as much enthusiasm at the news that Liv and he are expecting another child. He too took to the popular social media site, Instagram, to share his joy.
“My beautiful baby is pregnant!!!! Sooooooo excited and so blessed, I love you @misslivalittle.”
Unlike other celebrities, who have admitted to not enjoying the process of pregnancy, Tyler recently spoke on the subject and shared with Access Hollywood that she enjoys the feeling and process of pregnancy.
“I love being pregnant. I’m very tall, so I’m comfortable when I’m pregnant. I’ve been very blessed and felt good when I was pregnant. I think also being an actress, it’s sort of the only time I don’t have to work and just be home.”
Liv also capitalized on the bit she chose to divulge about her fiancé, David Gardner, by indicating that when it comes to his parenting skills, “He’s very, very sweet.”
Liv, who welcomed her second child, and first with David, back in February, 2015, also shared photos of their adorable little boy, Sailor. Clearly, the couple adores their little family and are ecstatic that it is soon to expand. The caption under Liv’s pictures of Sailor demonstrate her adoration for her baby son who is soon to have a baby brother or sister.
“Our beautiful baby boy. 6 months old [and] so so sooooo in love and grateful.”
Interestingly enough, Sailor’s superstar godfather is none other than soccer icon David Beckham. Liv posed with little Sailor in British Vogue in late 2015, and was keen to share that her good pal, Kate Moss, was on hand to help with the styling.
“Soooo excited for this to come out @britishvogue one of my oldest and dearest friend’s kate moss styled and edited a story about me in novembers British vogue. It was soooo fun!!!”
Liv and her little ones clearly have no shortage of superstar friends and support. Of course Liv’s No. 1 support is her loving fiancé, David, who was sure to compliment his soon-to-be wife on how radiant she looked in the British Vogue spread. Once again taking to Instagram, Wonderwall shares the doting dad’s words.

Surely Liv’s father, rocker Steven Tyler, will be just as thrilled to welcome Liv and David’s newest addition, as he was to welcome little Sailor and Liv’s oldest boy, Milo. The family is beyond excited by the news, and Liv is bound to keep her fans updated via her social media accounts as her pregnancy goes on. David seems just as thrilled to share the details as well.
