Powerball Lottery: How Would You Spend Millions? One Man Says He Wants Coke And Hookers [Videos, Photos]
The Powerball lottery jackpot continues to climb and is currently at an estimated $800 million with a payout for a lucky winner at $496 million, should only one person win the Powerball. As chaos continues to mount regarding the largest Powerball lottery jackpot in U.S. history, people in multiple states continue to dream of how they would spend millions should they win. The next drawing takes place on Sat., Jan. 9, and more people are vying for a chance at the record-breaking Powerball jackpot.
Las Vegas reporter Ophelia Young asked a man on the air what he would do if he won the lottery. His response may have been appropriate for some Las Vegas circles, but it certainly was not acceptable for broadcast news. The reporter’s face turned to one of shock and dismay when he answered, while she laughingly moved on to other topics.
Young said to the man, “Can I ask you if you won all the money, what would you do with it?”
The man uttered his reply in a low voice, “A bunch of hookers and cocaine.”
To which Young said, “Okay, that’s not good, then laughed.”

Are you going to play the Powerball lottery? Have you thought about how you would spend a newly acquired fortune of more than $400 million, should you take a lump sum payment? There are many people who could rattle off a list of material things they’d like to buy on the spot: new car, new house, real estate, a private island, an airplane, etc.; but, many experts, financial advisors, lawyers (tax attorneys) and accountants recommend holding off on any sudden large purchases. They also warn against suddenly quitting your job. Statistics show that not everyone who strikes the lottery or wins a Powerball jackpot suddenly lives happily ever after. In fact, there are many cases of people whose lives were actually destroyed once they hit it big or won a lottery. While it’s good to dream, it’s better to stay grounded in reality and make wise decisions.
Still, dreaming about winning the lottery is common and many people think of ways they’d like to spend that millions of dollars.
Here are some comments from Twitter, from others currently dreaming about the Saturday’s Powerball lottery jackpot.
