Jennifer Garner Is All Smiles Running Errands In L.A., Is Patrick Dempsey The One Making Ben Affleck’s Ex Happy?

Jennifer Garner may be moving on from her split with Ben Affleck. The actress was recently spotted out and about and appeared more than happy running errands. Does this mean Garner has a new man in her life? And, more importantly, is she seeing one of her former co-stars in Patrick Dempsey?

According to the Daily Mail, Garner was seen making her way through Santa Monica, California, with an unnamed friend. Garner wore a plain black shirt with blue jeans during the outing and was nothing but smiles. The public sighting came on the heels of a short reunion between Affleck and Garner, who both attended the funeral of Sean Whitesell in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The recent public appearance follows reports that Garner is currently dating her longtime friend, Patrick Dempsey. Dempsey and Garner first met while working together on the 2009 film, Valentine’s Day, where they reportedly shared a good deal of chemistry in front of the cameras.

Ever since working together on the movie, the two have remained good friends. Now, it appears as though their on-screen chemistry has translated to a real life relationship.

According to FOX News, an inside source recently revealed that Dempsey and Garner have been seeing each other for a few months now. Their relationship apparently kicked off after Garner asked the former Grey’s Anatomy star if he wanted go out for some coffee.

Apparently, their first date went so well that the two decided to get together for a second time. During their follow up date, the pair’s dinner led to them spending the entire weekend together. Is this one reason why Garner has been so happy as of late?

Meanwhile, the source explained how Garner and Dempsey have been good friends over the years. Given their past history together, the insider indicated that their new romance is not all that surprising.

“They’ve been friends for years… it was only natural for them to confide in each other,” the insider shared. “As soon as they started talking, the spark was evident to both of them. Jen was relieved — and excited.”

The source went on to reveal that Dempsey has been more than kind to Jennifer Garner. In fact, things are going so well that Garner finds her new relationship with Dempsey a welcome break from her recent relationship woes with the Batman v Superman star.

“Patrick has been treating her like a queen,” the source continued to reveal. “It’s refreshing after Ben.”

Garner and Affleck were married for 10 years before announcing their divorce in the summer of 2015. While the two have not officially revealed the true reason behind their split, the Daily Caller is reporting that Affleck had an affair with their children’s many, Christine Ouzounian.

Prior to her marriage with Affleck, Garner and Scott Foley were married for four years before calling it quits in 2004. Following her split with Foley, Garner and her fellow Alias cast member Michael Vartan dated each other for one year before Garner tied the knot with Affleck.

At the same time, neither Dempsey nor Garner have made any public declaration of their new relationship. However, given the fact that both of them are now single and have a past history, it is not all that surprising they would get together.

For his part, Affleck is rumored to be involved with a former co-star of his own in Kate Beckinsale. Affleck and Beckinsale starred together in the hit war romance, Pearl Harbor. Beckinsale and her former husband Len Wiseman recently announced their own divorce after being together for 10 years.
