Family Worries About ‘RHOBH’ Kim Richards’ Sobriety As Ex Monty Brison Nears The End

Real Housewives Kim Richards’ family is concerned that her sobriety is going to suffer when her ex husband Monty Brinson passes from lung and brain cancer. Brinson, the ex husband that she left to trade up for oil heir Gregg Davis, has been slowly losing his battle against cancer, and is being looked after by Richards when she is not in rehab. Friends and family are concerned that her sobriety is still so new, and that Brinson’s death could push her over the edge, as her last arrest was just a few months ago.

According to the Inquisitr, Kim Richards has been struggling with sobriety for years, and in the last year, she has been arrested twice in substance-related situations. First, Richards was arrested for public drunkenness at a Beverly Hills hotel, and then at Target after trying to steal $600 worth of merchandise. It has never taken much for Kim Richards to fall off the wagon, and on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards took some of Brinson’s pain medication, and went to a party stoned.

Radar Online is reporting that Kim Richards’ family is terrified that she will fall off the wagon when Brinson passes.

“‘Kim has been by Monty’s side since he was diagnosed and when he passes she is going to be devastated,’ a source close to the 51-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told Radar.”

The same source says that the family is worried about Kim.

“Everyone is worried that his death will compromise her sobriety, since she is just so newly sober.”

Brinson’s other ex wife, Terri Doss, says that Monty Brinson is in terrible shape.

“He is not even able to walk on his own,” Terri Doss tells Radar. She revealed that he is paralyzed and is “not of sound mind.”

Doss has been keeping fans up to date on his condition.

“Monty wants everyone to know that he had a stroke a month ago and it has effected (sic) his decision making / mind.. He did not mean to post what he had and apologizes to all of you.. His mind is not clear.”

Richards’ family is praying for Brinson, and praying that Kim Richards makes it through this hard time with her sobriety intact.

Us Magazine says that on the latest episode of RHOBH, Kyle Richards heard about Kim Richards’ arrest outside of the Van Nuys, California, Target after shoplifting while with the other ladies in the Hamptons.

“Now Kim’s arrested? It’s like, what the f–k? What’s going on with her?” Lisa Vanderpump commented. “She has to be taking something…You cannot tell me Kim Richards in her sane mind would put $600 worth of toys in a shopping cart and walk it out like a shoplifter.”

Kyle Richards said that she heard about Kim’s arrest from TMZ.

“I heard about what happened with my sister on TMZ,” Kyle said. “My sister Kim right now is a very sensitive topic to me, and nobody seems to care. My sister’s name keeps coming up over, and over and over again. It’s unf–king believable.”

Kyle then explained that obviously, Kim had serious problems

“Obviously, she’s not of sound mind,” Kyle explained. “I don’t want to talk about that.”

All of the ladies of the Real Housewives are convinced that Kim Richards is not stable enough to handle any major changes in her life, and especially not the current condition of Monty Brinson.
