Phaedra Parks Says Kandi Burruss’ Husband, Todd Tucker, Has Attacked Her Character, Gives Additional Details On Payment

Phaedra Parks doesn’t appreciate Todd Tucker discussing their business dispute on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In her latest blog post, posted on Tuesday, Phaedra said that Todd turned a business matter into a personal attack and assault on her character.

“First of all, this business matter is between TTucker Productions and Nida Fitness. Nida Fitness is co-owned by me and my husband. Nida Fitness hired TTucker Productions to produce a prenatal fitness video. Post-production on the video was never completed and therefore the final payment was not made. The project has been in limbo. It is disconcerting to see that Todd opted to discuss the matter with everyone, except the business owners of Nida Fitness; thereby turning this business matter into a personal attack and assault on my character.”

Phaedra also gave some additional details on her dispute with Kandi Burruss’ husband. Phaedra said that she has written Todd a check for half of the outstanding balance and will pay the rest when she gets a complete and finished product that she can put out on the market. Phaedra pointed out that it’s standard that the final payment gets sent after the final deliverable is delivered.

“After I became aware that this matter was circulating the rumor mill, as a professional businesswoman, I invited Todd to come to my office to discuss. In good faith, I wrote him a check for half of the outstanding balance. Presently, I am still waiting on the final cut. Upon receipt of a commercially acceptable, finished product, I will cut the final check. Everybody knows that the final payment follows the final deliverable.”

Was the condition that the final payment will be sent after the final product is delivered and what constitutes as a “commercially acceptable, finished product” written into the contract for the prenatal fitness video? From the differing accounts on the dispute given by Phaedra and Todd, there certainly seems to be some confusion on the matter.

Kandi Burruss certainly believes that Phaedra Parks should pay Todd Tucker the entire amount owed immediately. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, after the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired, Kandi posted a lengthy message in which she said that Phaedra never gave the final payment, despite Todd sending her final invoice emails and asking for payment “well before” Apollo Nida went to prison. Kandi claimed that it’s Phaedra who is holding things up, since “the video was shot & finalized in 2013” and “she was suppose to give [Todd] the photo she wanted to put on the DVD menu & final payment back then…” Kandi also seemed to respond to Phaedra, making fun of Todd’s career and saying that he gets allowances from Kandi by pointing out that Todd produced three shows that aired on three different networks in 2015.

On Monday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra and Todd finally had a one-on-one meeting to discuss the money owed on a prenatal fitness DVD that Todd worked on for Phaedra. Phaedra, who previously told co-star Porsha Williams that she never received a finished product, told Todd that when he asked for the final payment, she was under a lot of stress and preoccupied with the fact that her husband was going to prison, leaving her alone to raise their two young sons. Although the two remained polite with one another during the meeting, they made snide remarks about the other in their interviews.

Phaedra said that Todd must now be asking for money since “his weekly allowance from Ms. Kandi isn’t keeping him afloat anymore.” “It’s my name on this video, so I’ll be the one to say when it’s done and then Todd can get his check,” she added with a smile.

“Phaedra can’t pay me because she’s a single mother? Come on! Get out of here! Cut the check and stop playing,” Todd said.

Next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta may show Kandi Burruss’ mom and Todd Tucker’s mother-in-law, Mama Joyce, inserting herself in the drama. A preview shows Mama Joyce telling Kandi that her issue with Phaedra needs to be resolved and then paying Phaedra a visit in her office.
