ABC’s ‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Premiere Spoilers: What Can Viewers Expect As Ben Higgins Meets His Ladies?
It is finally time for ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 to begin, and fans cannot wait to watch Ben Higgins in action. What can viewers expect from the Season 20 premiere as Ben meets the bachelorettes for this new season? How much drama will be involved in this next franchise outing?
From the sounds of things, this will be a typical premiere in many ways. There likely will be the introductory videos focusing on some of the gals, along with the excitement in the limousines and the wacky meetings with the lead. There will be a cocktail party and a rose ceremony, where Ben will send home a handful of hopeful ladies. According to TV Guide, Ben Higgins will actually meet 28 bachelorettes in Monday’s Season 20 premiere, rather than the typical 25.

There will be some wild entrances, of course, and some have been teased via Bachelor spoiler previews already. Ben will be a bit stunned by Emily and Haley Ferguson, identical twins who exit the limo together to meet him, and one lady heads up the driveway on a hoverboard. There will also be a couple of familiar faces for “Bachelor Nation” fans: Becca Tilley and Amber James both show up for Season 20, and viewers will remember them from Chris Soules’ Bachelor season last year.
Viewers will get a bit of a treat in seeing Chris Soules, Sean Lowe, and Jason Mesnick incorporated into this premiere. Bachelor spoilers tease that the three former leads will be giving Ben a bit of advice on how to handle this journey. Given that both Jason and Sean are married to women from their seasons, though things imploded with Chris and his chosen lady after his season, Ben may want to seriously consider the tips these guys have to offer.

What else can viewers expect from the premiere? Reality Steve’s spoilers indicate that bachelorette Meagan Miller brings along a pony, and the pony will actually be at the mansion all night for the cocktail party. There will be a bread basket given to Ben by Breanne Rice, and one bachelorette wears a unicorn head. Steve’s Bachelor spoilers indicate that this creative approach is used by JoJo Fletcher, and it will surely get a bit of attention.
Other entrances include Mandi Kremer wearing a gigantic rose on her head, making a joke to Ben about pollinating it that will surely remind many of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s raunchy introductory joke with Chris Soules last season. Steve’s Bachelor spoilers also tease that one gal tosses a football to Ben as she introduces herself while another bachelorette thinks it’ll be a winning strategy to tell Higgins that she’s been stalking him on social media for the past two months.

There will be a wedding bouquet from one bachelorette and a wedding “save the date” card from another. Bachelor spoilers tease a pajama onesie being worn all night by one lady, and another made sure to sneak a kiss into her introduction to Ben.
In addition, Mandi the dentist orchestrates a check-up for Ben as well as a kiss. By the end of the night, seven ladies will be left without roses. Reality Steve’s spoilers detail that Breanne Rice, Isabel Goodkind, Jessica Moser, Laura Esselman, Lauren Russell, Meagan Miller, and Tiara Soleim will be sent home in this Season 20 premiere.
However, Steve’s Bachelor spoilers share that Lauren will head back into the mansion, aiming to get Higgins to change her mind. Unfortunately, her strategy doesn’t work, and she indeed heads home. The remaining 21 gals will move into their mansion and get ready for the first dates of the season, which will take place in Episode 2 airing on Monday, January 11.
Who will garner Ben Higgins’ final rose in Season 20? Will he eventually end up marrying his final pick? Fans cannot wait to get started with this new season, and the fun begins with the premiere of ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season on Monday, January 4.
