Kandi Burruss Reveals More About Money Dispute Between Phaedra Parks And Todd Tucker

Kandi Burruss has provided more details about the money dispute between her husband, Todd Tucker, and Phaedra Parks. After the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired on Sunday night, Kandi posted a lengthy Instagram message that defended Todd’s behavior towards Phaedra.

Kandi responded to some people’s criticism that Todd was being petty and inconsiderate for not letting go of the money that Phaedra owed him, especially since Phaedra has been dealing with her husband’s legal troubles, his subsequent incarceration, and having to be a single mom to two young boys. Kandi’s response also addressed some people’s criticism that Todd waited until after Apollo Nida was in prison to ask for his money, saying that it must mean that he was too scared to confront Phaedra when Apollo was still around. Kandi explained that Todd actually asked Phaedra for the final payment for the pregnancy DVD that he worked on for her years ago, long before Apollo went to prison. Kandi also made clear that that Phaedra has yet to send the final payment.

“[Phaedra] approved the budget & she paid the first 2 payments but never paid the third for whatever reason. This was well before Apollo went to jail. Todd sent final invoice emails but there was just excuses & no payment. I told him not to worry about it & give her time. But now years have passed…So to everyone who is coming at us in the chat box saying my husband waited for her husband to go to jail to ask for his money as if he was scared to ask, that is absolutely not true. He’s was asking long before. Just never got all his money. Simple…. And Todd was never being mean or disrespectful to her. He always remained cordial. The video was shot & finalized in 2013. She was suppose to give him the photo she wanted to put on the DVD menu & final payment back then…. It’s 2016 people. I hope this gives y’all some clarity. #NoShade #AllFacts.”

Kandi Burruss also seemed to react to Phaedra Parks’ dismissal of Todd Tucker’s career. She began her Instagram message by pointing out that Todd has been very successful as a producer.

“In 2015 My husband@todd167 had 3 shows that he was executive producer on to air on 3 different networks. People lie but credits don’t. Check the credits!

The photo that Kandi posted with her Instagram message shows the promotional images for the three shows that Todd produced: MTV’s My Super Sweet 16, Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Ski Trip, and TV One’s Hollywood Divas.

Todd posted a similar message to his Instagram page, pointing out that his company, Tucker Productions, had three different shows air on three different networks in 2015.

On the latest episode of Real Housewives, Todd and Phaedra finally had a face-to-face meeting to discuss the money that she owed him for the workout DVD that he worked on for her. On previous episodes, Phaedra expressed her feeling that she already paid Todd thousands of dollars and didn’t need to pay any more since she never got a finished product out on the market. Despite Todd showing Phaedra receipts, the two still didn’t come to an agreement over the money owed.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kandi tweeted last week that she and Phaedra are “cool.” Are they still “cool” now after watching the latest episode? In an interview that was aired during her scene with Todd, Phaedra made light of Todd’s career and pretty much said that he’s being financially kept by Kandi.

As the episode aired, Kandi posted a tweet that pointed out that Phaedra would have had her DVD years ago if she made the final payment.

Hmmm…. If the final payment was made she could have had that DVD years ago. But ok. You don't get what you don't pay for.

Will next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta show Kandi Burruss’ mom, the always outspoken Mama Joyce, lashing out at Phaedra Parks for the money she owes Todd Tucker? A preview for the next episode shows that viewers will see Mama Joyce, after telling Kandi that her issue with Phaedra needs to be sorted out, paying Phaedra a visit at her office.
