Matt Bomer Is Loving Lady Gaga On And Off Cam ‘AMS: Hotel’

Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer may be the hottest and scariest pair on television right now, co-starring in American Horror Story: Hotel as the bloodsuckers The Countess and Donovan. But, what’s cooking between Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer as of late?

Well, we all know Lady Gaga was just proclaimed by Billboard as 2015 Woman Of The Year, having achieved so much and touched so many hearts with her performances such as the Sound of Music Tribute to Julie Andrews at the 2015 Academy Awawrds and her new single, ‘”Til It Happens To You.” In February of last year, Lady Gaga actually propelled back into fame with her sixth Grammy Award, Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, for the Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett collab album titled, Cheek to Cheek.

2015 has been just as kind to Matt Bomer, appearing again on television via American Horror Story: Hotel right after the fourth season American Horror Story: Freak Show. Matt Bomer also received three nominations last year, winning two: People’s Choice Awards Favorite Cable TV Actor for White Collar and Golden Globe Awards Best Supporting Actor for a Series, Miniseries, or Telvision Film for The Normal Heart.

Recently, Matt Bomer just expressed his favorable opinions about the Mother Monster Lady Gaga in his feature in Men’s Fitness’ January-February issue, ETC Canada reported. Apart from a wide range of Bomer topics, he went in-depth about his relationship with Lady Gaga, and how his friendship with Lady Gaga is starting to blossom off the American Horror Story: Hotel camera, as well. Matt Bomer actually appears in the cover of Men’s Fitness‘ latest issue, wet, and flaunting his hard and toned abs through a very thin white shirt.

More than a co-star to Matt Bomer, it seems Lady Gaga is inspiring him, too, with some industry advice in between American Horror Story tapings. In a behind-the-scenes video of the January-February Men’s Fitness covershoot with Matt Bomer, he shares some of the wise words he picked up from Lady Gaga.

“She said a lot of creating a name and a place for yourself in this business is just having the heart to staying in the game. A lot of it is learning how to get up and dust yourself off and stand up against adversity or whoever may be an obstacle for you and having the heart to stay open as an artist and creative as an artist.”

In fact, Matt Bomer credits Lady Gaga’s level of creativity and intelligence, too, in their success with American Horror Story: Hotel. In fairness to Lady Gaga, she did earn some recognition for her role as The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel. Gaga received nominations for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress at the 42nd People’s Choice Awards, Best Actress in a TV Series – Drama at the upcoming 20th Satellite Awards, and a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Film.

Matt Bomer gushes about Lady Gaga’s genius.

“My favorite thing about working with Lady Gaga is really just the sheer level of creativity she brings to the table. And she’s really one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever known. Her intelligence is equaled by her heart.”

People also reveals that Matt Bomer is very particular about his diet, and jokes that his intimate scene with Lady Gaga on AMS: Hotel is the reason for choosing a non-greasy option for their interview location.

“I have to be naked on camera at 9 a.m. for a love scene with Lady Gaga. So maybe it’s not a good time for, like, French fries.”

No controversies, though, between Bomer and Gaga; just clean and harmless fun. Lady Gaga is set to marry fiance Taylor Kinney, and Matt Bomer has been married for years already to his partner with kids.
