North West’s $10,000 Fur Coat, Kim Kardashian’s $39,000 Rainbow Fur Are Topics Of Controversy [Photo]
Kanye West has come out with a new song called “Facts,” as reported by ET, ?and that song sets certain facts straight, including the $10,000 dollar cost of North West’s fur coat. In the song, Kanye raps about just buying North or “Nori” a $10,000 fur coat and criticizes women whose children’s fathers won’t even take their daughters to the mall for a shopping trip.

“10 thousand dollar fur for Nori, I just copped it/Your baby daddy won’t even take your daughter shoppin'”
It’s almost as if West made the song just to comment on the reports that estimated two-year-old North was wearing a fur coat only worth $3,500, as reported by the Daily Mail. The photo that Kim Kardashian posted to her Instagram account showing North sporting a fur has certainly brought the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star plenty of attention.

The fur on North has also caused Instagram users such as “hnnahch” to criticize Kim for putting a fur on North.
“You are encouraging your child to wear fur that is ripped off of animals skin. You are disgusting.”
Those folks who have a problem with fur aren’t blaming North, of course, for the so-called fashion faux pas. Some of West’s fans are calling North styling beyond her two years, while detractors are blaming North’s parents for celebrity excess. North was hanging out with aunt Kourtney Kardashian — as well as with North’s cousins — when she was spotted in the $10,000 fur.
North was likely none the wiser about all the fur controversy swirling around her $10,00 coat, as West sucked on a sucker when she was photographed. Accompanying the $10,000 fur coat was North’s sweatshirt and jeans. Don’t forget the white Chuck Taylor sneakers that topped off North’s look.
Critics claim that a toddler doesn’t need such an expensive fur coat — and believe no one should wear real fur anymore, especially on a warm enough day in Los Angeles with lots of sunshine. North wore a “crystal fox” fur wrap in Woodland Hills, California.
Previously, Kim got 150 Christmas gifts from Kanye, as reported by Entertainment Tonight — ?a move that also came with controversy. Kardashian got a fur coat as well — one that looked like a fur coat from Saint Laurent’s Fall 2015 runway collection that costs as much as $39,000 or more. Kim’s nearly $40,000 rainbow fur coat can be seen on Elle.
PETA’s vice president, Lisa Lange, told the New York Daily News that animals suffered to make North’s fur coat, if it is indeed real.
“Kids are naturally drawn to animals and sympathetic to their plight, and there’s no reason to think that North is any different. If the fur coat that she’s been dressed in is real, animals have suffered for vanity, something that we’re sure neither North nor any little girl her age would support.”
It wasn’t just a fur coat under the Christmas tree for North and Kim, but Kardashian also got a Prada jumpsuit from her husband. The fur coat joined a Louis Vuitton dress as a gift. The furs included a black mink coat, North’s fur coat — plus a multicolored rainbow fur coat.
“We’ve got ‘To Kim from Kanye’ — one hundred fifty gifts and counting.”
The cutest photos of North are any pics the toddler appears within, especially ones wherein North wears her ballerina gear.
Kanye was named GQ‘s most stylish man, reports Bustle, for a number of reasons — and loving fur didn’t stop West from gaining that title.
“Did Kanye really just spend $39,000 on a multicolor fur coat for Kim?”
As asked by People, the question on plenty of folks’ minds is if Kanye really dropped nearly $40,000 for a fur coat for Kim. With West bragging about the millions made via Kim’s new emojis in his “Facts” song, that amount was likely a drop in the bucket for Kim and Kanye.
