Forget ‘Hendall,’ Why Is Harry Styles Hanging With The Azoffs?
It probably hasn’t escaped your notice that One Direction heart-throb Harry Styles is on vacation in Anguilla and St. Barts in the Caribbean. Harry has popped of for a spot of winter sunshine and a well-earned rest whilst his One Direction band-mates are back home in the U.K., but one has to wonder if Harry’s trip is all pleasure.
Over the past few days, the gossip columns have focused on the rumor that Harry is dating a supposed old-flame in the shape of Kendall Jenner. Jenner was rumored to have been Harry’s “winter girlfriend” back in 2013, but that rumored romance was short-lived. Today the Daily Mirror reports that Harry and Kendall were spotted “kissing on a luxury yacht” off the coast of the Caribbean island of St. Barts.
Many of Harry’s fans are unconvinced that Styles and Jenner are any more than friends, and it seems that some believe that both stars are gay and are acting as “beards” for each other.
Rumors about Harry’s sexuality have abounded for years and according to a number of sources, Kendall may be about to “come out” as gay. Classicalite reports that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been discussing how to “come out” with her inner circle of friends.
On Tuesday it was claimed that Kendall and Harry had been spotted together at a restaurant called Blanchard’s in Anguilla. Metro reported that Harry and Kendall were spotted together but pictures shared by other diners suggest that they were not actually “together.” As can be seen in the Instagram picture below, diners suggested that Harry and Kendall arrived separately but Harry joined Kendall for a few minutes before returning to his own table.
According to the Daily Mail, Kendall has been in St. Barts with her mother, Kris Jenner, so it may well be the case that this is just two old friends catching up and messing around. Harry and Kendall have always insisted that they are just friends, would it be so shocking if this was actually the truth?
Intriguingly it seems that Harry was actually dining with members of the Azoff family who run a powerful music management company. Azoff music management boasts massive name clients like the Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Fleetwood Mac, and Bon Jovi.
Company CEO, Irving Azoff, is known to be a fierce advocate for his clients and is known to be a straight shooter. Many of Harry’s fans are hoping that Harry and One Direction can break free of Simon Cowell and their current management during their upcoming hiatus.

Many believe that Azoff would be a perfect fit for Harry and One Direction. It has also been reported in recent days that Harry has registered a number of solo tracks in the U.S. so it may be the case that Styles is working on a business relationship with Azoff.
It is likely that Simon Cowell’s SyCo will still have some sway over the One Direction name, but Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne may well be able to sign with Azoff as individual entities.
The BBC reports that Harry has registered four tracks with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) website with Harry listed as the only performer.
The ASCAP website lists Harry’s four songs with the titles “5378 Miles,” “Already Home,” “Coco,” and “Endlessly.” Snow Patrol guitarist John McDaid and dance music producer Gary Go are given writing credits alongside Styles. The producers for Harry’s tunes are listed as Kobalt Music Services who have the likes of Paul McCartney, Alt-J, and Beck on their roster.
Over the past year or so there have been numerous rumors that Harry was recording solo material but Styles has always denied that a solo album is in the offing.
It may well be, that by focusing on Harry spending time with Kendall Jenner, the media is missing the real story. Harry Styles signing with Irving Azoff to release solo material would be major music industry news.
