Miranda Lambert’s New Man, Anderson East — Everything We Know About The Country Crooner, Including How Blake Shelton Found Out

Miranda Lambert has officially found a new love. Following her divorce from country singer Blake Shelton this past summer, Lambert is now in a relationship with singer Anderson East. With that in mind, here’s everything to know about East, including how Shelton reacted to the news.

For starters, E! Online is reporting that Anderson East is not his real name. The country singer’s real name is actually Michael Cameron Anderson, but he decided to change his stage name back in 2010 and has been known as Anderson East ever since.

Like Lambert, East also shares a deep passion for music that actually originated when he was child. East, who was born in Athens, Alabama, was raised by parents who shared musical talents. East group up in this musical environment and later decided to pursue an education in music engineering at Middle Tennessee State University.

As far as his influences go, East credits a wide range of artists for inspiring him to get into music. These artists included the likes of Snoop Dogg, Michael Jackson, and Led Zeppelin. Along with singing, East plays both the guitar and piano, both of which he started at a very young age.

At the same time, East is currently getting ready to go on a headline tour with his band. In order to express his excitement about his upcoming tour, East shared the news on his Instagram account. “Time for me to get up and do my thing,” he wrote to fans. “Excited to announce our first headlining tour.”

Meanwhile, according to E! Online, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have quietly been together for a few months now. Although Lambert went through a rough period of time following her divorce from Shelton, she is more than happy now that East is by her side.

“Miranda has been dating for the past few months but recently starting having eyes for only one guy—that guy being Anderson,” an inside source told the outlet. “It’s still all pretty new and she is just enjoying getting to know him.”

Despite being torn up over her public split with Shelton, Lambert is using her past experiences as a learning tool. This is one reason why Lambert has been able to move forward with her life and onto someone new, who she is apparently completely in love with.

“Anderson is a complete gentleman! Miranda gets butterflies with Anderson,” the source continued. “He is a wonderful guy with an amazing personality. Miranda loves his sense of humor and his love for music. They have many things in common.”

Shelton and Lambert were married for four years before announcing their divorce this past July. Following their split, Shelton was quick to move on to a new relationship with his co-star on The Voice, Gwen Stefani.

“Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try,” Lambert recently shared about her divorce. “I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is.”

According to Hollywood Life, Shelton only recently discovered that Lambert was in a new relationship. With Shelton being plenty distracted with his current relationship with Stefani, the country singer’s mother was the one who broke the news.

“Blake’s mom told him about Gwen and Anderson East dating after reading about it on the Internet… He did not call Anderson and had no plans on doing so.”

Although Shelton has yet to officially comment on Lambert’s new relationship, the source did indicate that he is more than happy for his ex-wife. With both Shelton and Lambert seemingly content in their new relationships, it would appear as though things have ended quite nicely for the country singers.
