‘Love In Paradise’: Luke Perry Rustles Things Up In Hallmark’s New Cowboy Movie, Starring Emmanuelle Vaugier
Love in Paradise is an original new movie that Hallmark is featuring as part of “Winterfest,” a line-up of new movies that are set to debut every Saturday throughout the winter season.
The Inquisitr reported that Hallmark Channel just finished up their “Countdown to Christmas,” which kicked off at the end of October. Now, Love In Paradise is the first of a slew of movies that will warm up your winter, beginning this weekend.
The country western flick is about an actor who plays a cowboy but, in reality, knows nothing about the lifestyle. It is based on characters created by Luke Perry. Love in Paradise stars Luke Perry as Avery, Emmanuelle Vaugier as Heather, Tom Butler as Casey, Ona Grauer as Candace, Elle-Maija Tailfeathers as Jen, Joshua Ballard as Derek, and Matt Frewer as Dr. Frank. It also stars Chad Willett as Guthrie, Frances Flanagan as Lola, David C. Jones as Doorman Fred, Benjamin Charles Watson as Cameraman, and Michael Teigen as Journalist.

Love in Paradise follows the handsome Avery, an actor who is known for his country western films. However, in recent years, he has seen a slight decline in popularity. Despite his waning career, it looks like Avery’s talent manager has an idea to drum up some publicity for him and to increase business at a ranch in Montana. And who is better to do this than Avery? He looks “cowboy-tastic” in his giddy-up gear, and he has all of the right mannerisms to fool the people at the ranch — or so he thinks.
There is one person he can’t seem to fool, and that’s Heather Twain, a local beauty and close family member of the ranch’s owners. It only takes her a quick minute to know that Avery is not the real deal. You see, this galloping beauty knows that life on the ranch is tough, and she can do everything any ranch hand can do. Heather can ride a horse, work the ranch, and come home just in time to prepare a western-style supper.
Meanwhile, Avery is having a hard time adjusting to life at the ranch. After all, he is used to preparing healthy drinks with his state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, getting his weekly manicures and pedicures, and maintaining his zen-like atmosphere, a far cry from the animal smells and dusty tails that come with life on a Montana ranch. Although he finds the western life unappealing at first, Avery starts to come around as he learns the ropes, plus, his slowly building relationship with the beautiful Heather just might be exactly what this yoga- posing cowboy needs.

Love In Paradise About The Cast, as stated at Hallmark Channel
Luke Perry
“Not one to be typecast because of his work on ‘90210,’ Perry’s television credits include a myriad of roles. Most recently, he’s been seen in ‘Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise’ on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, ‘Detective McLean: The Ties That Bind’ and the television movie ‘Welcome Home.’ Perry also was seen as the lead in the NBC drama ‘Windfall,’ HBO’s ‘John From Cincinnati,’ starred for two seasons on ‘Jeremiah,’ Showtime’s sci-fi series, a multi-episode arc on HBO’s critically acclaimed series ‘Oz,’ in which he portrayed a televangelist convicted of fraud.”
Emmanuelle Vaugier
“Emmanuelle Vaugier is a versatile actor who simply sizzles when it comes to portraying those feisty female leads who like to stir things up a bit. Her role in ABC’s steamy summer soap ‘Mistresses’ is no exception. In the series, Vaugier portrays Niko, the new mixologist at Wunderbar, and a thorn in Joss’ (Jes Macallan) side. This stunning actor continues to reprise her role of The Morrigan on the innovative series ‘Lost Girl.’ Vaugier may be best known for her popular role as Charlie Sheen’s ex-fiancée Mia on the award-winning CBS comedy ‘Two and a Half Men.’
Love In Paradise is directed by Sean McNamara and written by Tippi Dobrofsky and Neal Dobrofsky. It is an Entertainment One Television production with Jonathan Schwartz and Robert Lee as producers.
